Y'know, I almost don't even care that we lost. That comeback was incredible, and I figured someone was going to trip us up at some point. Might as well get it out of the way early.

You know what sucks is that now the season is over. It is all about playing out the string, the way that CFB is, one loss kills you, and I don't even want to think about what the game against SC is going to be like.

This season isn't about winning A national championship. Its about moving in the right direction for the future. This team showed so much heart today. This game was a blow out, but Charlie and the boys didn't give up, they fought back. They played there butts off. This to me is another building block, to a bright future!

in my opinion we had divine intervention that gave us that fumble at the end of the 4th quarter and we should have at least got into field goal range.... damnit im so pissed right now. well im still happy with our start this year, next week we get to kick the sh*t out of Ty, and that is what i have been wanting.

I'm gonna have to change my sig. A year ago, down 21 points, this same group of boys would have tucked tail and run under Ty. But Charlie took those same kids and fought them right back into the game.

We ALMOST erased a 21-point deficit.

You know what that means?

The next time we face a 14-point deficit, we will KNOW it can be overcome.

Next week against Washington will tell us more about this team and this coach, but we learned a lot today.

I look at the big picture. I thought we'd win 8 or 9 games, and I still do. But we have kids starting to line up to play for Charlie. The talent is coming back to Notre Dame, the National Championships will follow!!
