I lost my Dad back in 1992 and I always think about him, especially on his birthday and Father's Day.

I'd like to wish everyone a very happy Father's Day.

Lost mine a long time ago and my father in law this last January. Keep Things in perspective everyone. Happy Fathers Day to all of you daddies.

My first Father's Day with out mine it is very different. But I know he is better off he was in bad shape health wise.

Happy fathers days to all of you that are fathers.

Do not, do not, do not neglect to honor the mothers, daughters and sons that make this day possible.

I'll repeat a story:
My first Father's Day I quietly and gently got up early. I brewed some coffee, made some bacon and eggs, squeezed some oranges and warmed some formula.

I nestled my 11 month old son in bed with my wife. I brought them breakfast in bed. My wife protested: "But I'm supposed to be doing this for you!" My response was that I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my first Father's Day than to pamper the ones who made it possible.

It wasn't entirely altruistic. I went back downstairs and was able to drink my coffee, eat my breakfast and read the Sunday paper without interruption. I was also allowed to putter in my yard without interference for the bulk of the day.

Fatherhood hasn't let me down.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I thank God I still have my dad. Talked to him today in the phone. I only see him about 2-3 times a year. Always good to see my dad.

Happy Fathers Day!

Can I make this a "Dads and Grads" thread?

I just graduated University today. I finally made my Pops proud. It's taken me a while, but I got to see my Dad honestly happy.

I got goosebumps. I'm kind of happier for him than I am for myself. It feels really good as a son to see your father so proud.

A great day is being had by all. (I wore my 2013 "The Shirt" under my regalia. The idea of Notre Dame was a big part of what kept me going this whole time)

So, I have all you Subway Alumn to thank as well.

Go Vikings! And Go Irish!

Lost my dad in 2010. Not a day goes by that I am not grateful for him.

Happy father's day to my dad and all the dads out there! Keep working hard to make your young ones happy!

My condolences to all of you who lost your dads. It is tough, I know.

My first Fathers Day was in 1981. Had my oldest son, he will be 33 next Saturday, on the 21st. I was busy that day!

This has been a great one for me. I wish the same for you all!
