Happy Birthday

Not that it matters, but this is my exact birthdate. June 6, 1968.

Another weird fact, my son was born on 11/22... The anniversary of JFKs assassination.

This cuts it! I am starting a thread I have toyed about for a while. I though that it would be great to honor fellow posters with recognition of their birthdays. Don't feel shy to post your own. Years don't matter! So I am going to start with two!

Part one is Bubba, near and deer to so many on this site. (Long live the deer!)

Hey, Bubba, you share the day with my son, Mike. He is thirty Thursday! (and I have an in-law with an 11/22 birthday!)

Got big plans?

Crazy day for someone to have a birthday today. I have a buddy who has a birthday on Pearl Harbor Day, same kind of deal.

Like this thread Bogs.

Can I opt out? I've not been big on birthdays since I was old enough to drink. What more could I want?

My twin sister tends to remind me about just how old we're getting. She doesn't need any help. That and my son seems to get more and more pleasure each and every year referring to me as his "old man."

You think that's bad? Next Friday is Jaylon Smith's birthday, (and mine to by the way), and the following Monday, the 17th is Romeo Okwara's. (Yes Jayon, an incoming freshman is older that Romeo, a sophomore.)

I will be 56, and though I didn't celebrate a single birthday between 40 (a surprise benefit) and 55, I have changed my mind this year. After all, you don't know how many more you are actually going to have. And it is a great way of acknowledging someone, and everyone qualifies!

Well here it comes! Happy Birthday to Jaylon Smith today, Flag Day and Happy Birthday to Romeo Okwara, on Monday.

Oh yeah and Happy Birthday to the Bogtrotter today, too! Glad it is probably not going to be my last, after all!

Happy 238th birthday to the US Army!!!!

Oh, it's the Army's birthday, look at that.

Hey, I checked. This is not just a commemorative day for the flag; it is the flags birthday, "On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress passed the Flag Resolution which stated: Resolved, That the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."[

Happy 236th Birthday, Old Glory!
