I used to check out that site, but they weren't very welcoming at all to newbies, they used to rip this site all the time (and then we surpassed them 10 fold in viewers), and yes, they did jason dirty - big time. And irishunclebill has posted on this site under at least 30 different usernames (no lie), and still posts here under a different name or 2. That's all I'll add b/c I promised jpham when I became a mod that I'd stop ragging on that site.

They do have some very good, informative posters, and if you're a fiend for ND info, have at it. I prefer to check out DD when I have time, but between here and ISD, I rarely have time unless it is summer...

1) "cue" (to signal) is the proper term in the context.
2) "qué" (with accent mark) is proper. Think "¿Qué es eso?" vs "Que isla."
3) "queue," a British term, means "line" and is pronounced the same as "cue."

End of discussion. Shake hands and carry on as though this never happened.

I am also registered on GoldHelmet under the same Neutered name. Seems like a twin site, with exact same topics. Thing is, they might get 5 responses, while at I.E. there will be 500. I checked both sites one day and I.E. had about 500 folks online. GoldHelmet had abut 6.

This site is good enough for me. Have actually made "friends" here. TMQ10, GoIrish!!!, Bubba, Johnnykillz, SirDishHands, Old Man Mike, Nanker, Quintastic, ...and sorry to leave out any of my friends. I love this site. And now we have the resident genius BGIF back.

JPham is my lil hero, and NDinLA is the next mayor of East L.A.

I needed time off, and still might not post for awhile until things get straight in the real world. I am starting to walk on my own again. I did not want to post again until I saw BGIF had come back.

Great site... different type of vibe for different kinds of fans... just like here... there are other ones out there as well... DomerDomain and such

in the past certain members of both boards have taken stuff too far... we are all ND fans...

I post there every once in a blue moon and know most of the people who help run GH fairly well... asdie from the staff I tend to like the regs here a bit more... so I post here... that's not a rip on GH so much as a compliment to you guys.
