I voted other....just because my son WILL be the starting quarterback of the graduation class of 2023.

By the way....how's that t-shirt working out for your high school? Still waiting to see the design that was ripped from this site. You said you'd post it. Let us know how it all works out.

MAybe its just me but for anyone to vote golson is somewhat crazy. I have only seen high school highlights....havent seen him play a down in an Irish uniform....Tommy isnt our guy, and I was a tommy supporter but it doesn't seem like has IT. for the moment Hendrix is the dude.......he gives coach kelly the best chance the same offense he did at cincy....not to say that golson isnt good but at least we have seen what hendrix has to offer....

Tommy having "IT" was for the longest time about the only argument Rees supporters had...lol

This is how I rank our current QBs:

Everett Golson
Tommy Rees
Dayne Crist
Andrew Hendrix

I love Golson's ability and he seems to have the mental makeup. I just dont think that Golson will get the first shot at QB though and I really like Rees and think he will not drop the ball once he gets it next year. Thats why I voted him.

I hate Hendrix though. Dont see what you guys do on him. He is fast sure but in no way Id want him to be my QB. He just isnt one. Doesnt have the accuracy or the instincts of a QB. Change of pace QB at best imo.

Hmm. Okay so I'm not on the Hendrix bandwagon, but he did score both of our 2 touchdowns last night, you know that, right?

This poll makes me sad.

QBs take time to become BCS-caliber. Hendrix certainly won't be taking us there next year. 2013? Maybe. He's super athletic, but he's also raw as hell; the odds that a project like Hendrix really blossoms into an elite QB are not good.

What if Hendrix busts and loses his job to Golson or Kiel in 2013? Then we're back to square one again. I don't know if Kelly can survive a 4th QB reboot without a BCS run.

As far as QB development goes, 2010 and 2011 were basically wasted. It's a shame ND can't accept rebuilding years, because it really hurts us sometimes.

I realize that but he still was very erratic throwing the ball. He just doesnt have the sound look I want in a QB. Looks to run far too often. I realize protection was horrible but I want a QB that sticks in the pockets and runs at last chance.

Anyone remember that one play in the late 4th where Hendrix stepped up to avoid pressure, Could have run but instead through for a 1st down? That play stands out to me.

That moment when you do all that back tracking to prove yourself to me and then when you quote me and post you realize I put "Kidding of course." in white letters.
