Future for UM

I'm not sure if many of you read Herloyalsons.com, but I find the blog to be very informative and interesting. On that note, the lastest one is about the state of affairs for UM. Are they really at the state of accepting walk-ons and tryouts in order to break the lineup?

Will UM have a worse season than the Irish, and if so, could Dick Rod be out in less than 3 miserable years?

I'm from Michigan, nothing would please me more than to see them fail year in and year out during Dick Rod's tenure, what do you guys think?

As much as I would love nothing more than to see Michigan do terrible, I dont think they will. I still think Michigan will win 8 or 9 games.

Honestly, they will no leader on the offensive side of the ball. The defense clearly underperformed last year, and they got rid of Ron English (who I thought was a GREAT coach). These players don't know the system, I think they fail and lose to MSU, OSU, PENN ST., ND, Wisconsin, and possibly MINN.

And that would be 6 losses. I agree though, English was a huge loss for them and 3-5-3 sucks so who knows.

They always beat Michigan State. Like Mike Hart said "MSU is our little brother" Michigan will beat Msu. They will beat Penn State as well and they will beat Minnesota. I can see them losing Ohio State, Wisconsin and the Notre Dame game is a toss up. We have been Michigans little brother as of late. Purdue is a guaranteed win for them too since Purdue hasnt beaten Michigan in forever. Michigan will get those 2 or 3 lucky wins like they do every year. Michigan will go 9-3 or 8-4. There's no way they will be worse off than we were last year. I GUARANTEE it!

They have enough good athletes to play teams tough...I wouldn't expect them to fall too far.

The BEST news they'll get this off season is if the incoming feshman QB who's a natural in the spread goes there. They will have to pitch a LOT of shut outs and low scores against opponents next year, because, as far as I can see, they'll be jerry-rigging a new offense with players not particularly well suited to it. I can see 5 losses. And, believe it or not, I think ND will be one of them!

Just remember the athletes that go to UM are far better than WVU imo, 2 or 3 deep. DickRod will find a way to win. I just hope we can pull out a V this next year.

I wasn't sure I could despise Michigan more but hiring Rodgriguez solved that.

I'm not sure they can top losing to App. State though. I hope they lose every game by an interception or fumble in the last second after winning the entire game.

There is no way michigan wins at penn st next year. year in and year out these 2 teams battle usc, florida, lsu, and pitt fight for my "which team will a despise the most" award, so i have no real rooting interest one way or another. I really hate both teams, but penn st has almost everyone back, minues morelli, which i think is addition by subtraction actually, and michigan loses a ton. penn st wins easily. other than that i agree, so i say 5 wins

I'll believe it when I see it. Over the years, there are two constants in the Big10 football world...

1) Ohio State can't win against the SEC in a bowl game (Slams head on wall. Hard. REALLY HARD
2) Penn State can't win against scUM
