Another show that I really like that I forgot about is Sports Night. It's from the creator/writer of Studio 60, so it very similar, but it's about a show like Sports Center rathern than SNL. It was before he did the West Wing son it's also a little less liberal than Studio 60.

It ran on ABC for a couple of years around the year 2000, but the full series can now be bought on a 6 dvd pack.

For some reason my wife is not too keen about me wanting to subscribe to it... I keep telling her there are educational shows on it, but NOOOOOOO she doesn't buy it.

:sigh:

Aaaah, just order it and if she finds it while she's flipping through channels, act like you're outraged and tell her that you'll call your satellite carrier first thing in the morning to have it removed.

It has to work!!

The best show on earth ENTOURAGE. It has some of the funniest shit I have ever seen!

Another show I don't miss, but somehow I forgot to put it on my list. Ari and Lloyd are f'n hilarious together. If anybody has HBO Demand then you know what I'm talking about because you can watch the seasons over and over, can't get enough of them.

If we are going retro, then I'll say:

Three's Company
Hogan's Heros
Barney Miller
Starsky & Hutch

Hard to argue with those (but now bob crane=weirdo to me) :(
This may be lame, but when I was a kid in the late 70s, i used to like watching the sunday nite "world of disney" show. Whatever happened to having wholesome stuff on tv for families who don't want to have their kids see guys making out on MTV's "next" show?

My retro favs are All in the Family - - - #1 w/ a bullet. Also, The Jeffersons was a favorite. Going back to the baby boom era, I can still watch Leave it to Beaver. Don't ask me why but I would always find myself watching it when channel surfing. Eddie Haskell, Wally Cleaver, Lumpy (ya big boob), Whitey & the rest of the gang.
