I can't wait to scoop up Uggla off the scrap heap

I have Brian McCann as my backup if you are interested. He is supposedly out the first few weeks so I don't want to give you a DL guy but I think we can work something out if you're interested.

We'll see. I already have a catcher who is out for 25 games that i didn't know until after i drafted him. Dirty Ruiz.

I just noticed the Trout and some other decent pieces for a bag of overrated baseballs trade. That is the shenanigans-iest trade I've ever seen. Who are Metsicles and Chicos bail bonds if you are not the same person.

You should have voted against it. Trout for Stanton....Allen Craig for Frazier (who went to the same high school as Metsicles) and Chase for R.A. Dickey. If Stanton gets traded he could blow up. I'm Chico and I had to think about it hard. I didn't want to throw R.A. into the mix.

Trout alone for Stanton, Frazier and Dickey is a completely one-sided deal. Never mind throwing in Utley and Craig. If Stanton doesn't figure it out and Dickey goes back to who has been for the rest of his life save for last year, you got the three best players in the deal, including the best player in the league. Whoever Metsicles is should not be allowed to play again because that trade undermines the fairness of the league. I would say it is probably the worst trade I've ever seen in fantasy sports.

So your saying I'm like Pat Riley?? Anyone else that could have pulled it off, would have. You are beating the brakes off me this week, wait till we play again and I have Lebron, Wade and Bosh going. ; )

Good trade by you, no question. Anyone would have done the same. Just not sure what the other guy was thinking.

He wanted Frazier as bad as I wanted to dump Stanton. And it did look like Trout was struggling. I think Stanton will still hit 35 homers and have 90= RBI's when it's all said and done. Also, Frazier should have a great year. But ya, I made out like a bandit.

I've got three to choose from. Not elite players (Lawrie, Middlebrooks and Seager), but won't cost you a ton. Could use OF or P depth.

Me.

I valued having better depth, a Cy Young SP, and a strong UTL player over Trout. Sorry if that offended you in anyway. I have Chris Davis who has been tearing it up and Craig was struggling. I looked up Craig's numbers last year and didn't mind moving him. Utley is Utley but I didn't trust his injury history and felt Daniel Murphy at 2B with Jedd Gyorko backing him up is better overall. Again, sorry if you disagree. Stanton is struggling right now but has 30-40 HR ability and if he does get traded eventually, he could blow up.

Frazier gives me flexibility and a solid bat. Dickey is a Cy Young winner who will most likely regress some but is still a 15-20 win pitcher with 200+ innings all but certain.

Again, I chose a more balanced team over an All-Star in Trout.

Trout is a terrific player and that's not in dispute. I struggled trading him and understand its a gamble but one that I am willing to take.

Regardless, it's Fantasy Baseball...I'll survive.

People are entitled to manage their teams however they want. I was curious about this trade, since to me it seems so one-sided. I bitched about it because that is what I do, but as long as you guys weren't in cahoots it is your business what you do with your team. I do wish if Trout was available you had let others in the league know, because you probably could have gotten a better package. I know I would have given up a better pitcher than Dickey (Verlander or Kershaw) and some other pieces for the package you gave up, and I'm sure others in the league would have made competitive offers, too.

I still love you Rhode.

I thought about announcing it but somehow Chico and I got to talking about it and I would have felt like a dick discussing it with him then turning around and making a deal with someone else.

We talked for a few days over it and sent trade offers back and forth. It was fun.

I'm always open for trades. I have fun doing it. If this was a money league, things would be different. Lol

Also keep in mind he wanted Frazier, and looking at his numbers he got a damn good ball player along with a pitcher and someone with crazy potential. I asked around to a few of my fantasy guys, they didn't think it was unfair.

It's in the eye of the beholder I guess. Usually you have to blow someone away for the best overall player, and you got him while holding onto your two best players (Hamels and Pujols). Which, hey, good for you. I'm in a much better mood than yesterday so I'm not terribly worried about it. Que sera, sera.

You want Pujols?

Depends on the price, like everything. I would have given up more for him than Stanton, probably.
