Sucks Ange is leaving but I get it. It’s life changing money there. I don’t think many casuals understand how different the money is today from the handful of big time money leagues vs everywhere else. Ange pulled something off in Scotland I don’t think anyone else in my lifetime has. He brought a totally foreign perspective to Scotland, held to it and had it work. He pushed aside the cynical and very physical, muck it up, Scottish philosophy and stuck with his up tempo, attacking all the time, J League eastern philosophy and won big on it. I don’t think casuals know how bad things looked for Celtic when he came in. Many thought we’d win nothing for a few years and he rebuilt it all in two months. As a Scot I can attest that we are a stubborn people who resist change to a fault and I wonder if any team,… Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts,… any of the other ‘big’ clubs in Scotland would roll with it and go for a younger name from off the grid like Ange or as to see if their philosophy might be able to nic a title or two from the Old Firm.

On Brendan Rodgers coming back,… it’s safe enough but I’d have preferred a fresh start. I have little doubt he’ll keep trophies coming in tho.
I think he could do well at Tottenham, with Kane and Son in his attacking style. Problem is, Tottenham should absolutely sell Kane to Real and rebuild. But they won’t give Angie the time for a proper rebuild. If the club is outside the top 7 around new years, he will be sacked.

I’m not a huge fan of Marsch, but he has been linked to Celtic. I think he would do alright there, though. He seemed at home in Salisbury and that’s a similar level. Plus his all out, aggressive style is perfect for a giant in a smaller league.

This guy is a club and national hero who, by all external accounts, was mostly killing it at Milan. Winning the Scudetto last season alone was a miracle of God.
Gerry Cardinale spent 1992-2012 at Goldman Sachs. He fired him. Probably gave his last shit and fuck a very long time ago.

Just another day in sports.

Romano reporting Mac Allister to Liverpool for 35m.

ESPN BVB officially reporting Bellingham to Madrid is done for initial fee of €103m with €20 in addons.

Everyone talked about Messi and Enzo Fernandez during that World Cup, and rightfully, but Mac Allister was quite good in his own right. He's been very good for Brighton. Very good signing, then you factor it was for a third of what Real are paying for Bellingham?

Dortmund have some money to play around with.

I would have loved to see Mac Allister go to United for that price (especially when Mount seems like he'll cost 50M plus add ons), but it seems like he was dead set on wanting Liverpool.

Mount covers the home grown aspect of a signing and he has get out of Chelsea, but if anyone can get that done for less than $70M I think it's a pretty good signing.

AC Milan and Chelsea are reportedly in talks about a Christian Pulisic transfer.

It's going to be interesting to see how Chelsea value Mount, Pulisic, etc. and if they're asking for reasonable fees.

I don't see Milan splashing big pools of money tbh, so unless he comes at a discount, I'd be surprised.

Diaz is expected to leave for Real Madrid. Milan has to explore possibilities. Pulisic probably isn't going for more than $40M. His contract is up in one year and Chelsea needs to start moving bodies. One way or another, regardless of what is spinning around in Todd Boehly's star spangled skull they need to get some outgoings done.

The train of thought makes sense here. Farioli worked with DeZerbi recently. He's managing in Turkey right now. This would be a nice get for Celtic.

Maresca is Guardiola's assistant at City. He's been mentioned with Leicester, who have just been relegated and are going to be picked apart of their players more than likely.

This is the worst week of the football calendar. Constant rumors and speculation. Whatever club you support is linked to everyone from Neymar to the fucking ball boy at Grimsby Town.

Disgusting and unacceptable.
We have seen stuff like this with multiple world cups as well,… it’s almost like some nations simply don’t have the infrastructure or resources to put these things on properly,…………….

In their defense, they probably run short on money due to bribes they have to pay Uefa
