I think if he pulls a top 15 to 20 we should all pray to him.It would be a great turn around from where we were at just a month ago.I don't know is this realistic?RECON Daddy said:To me, the first sign of intelligence is who you surround yourself with when afforded the opportunity. There is no doubt Weiss has done that. I think the nation will be surprised by the quality of his first recruiting class!!
irishgo8 said:Sure it is realistic - if not probably what will happen within the next 3 years
QueensNY said:I like sharpley, he seems like he has a really good head on his shoulders. He was very happy with the Weis hire, didn't seem to bothered about Ty being fired, like some of our commits were. This kid wants to go to ND because it's ND, doesn't care who the coach is. He's got decent size, arm strength needs to improve.
You don't think next year's class will be top 20? This class is on Willingham.seIRISH said:I think if he pulls a top 15 to 20 we should all pray to him.It would be a great turn around from where we were at just a month ago.I don't know is this realistic?hwhateve
I am referring to this years class being they got such a late start. :idea:Svoboda said:You don't think next year's class will be top 20? This class is on Willingham.
I think next year will be top five.I think you give him and his staff a whole year he will compete with anybodySvoboda said:You don't think next year's class will be top 20? This class is on Willingham.

ExactlyRip Rap said:We've only had one class NOT ranked in the top-10 (last year's). We surely will be back on top again next year. Some of these guys claimed they hadn't heard from Willingham's staff for weeks on end. Now the head coach (Weis) is calling them directly and we're getting new interest from across the spectrum. All it really takes to recruit well at Notre Dame is not being lazy. With these guys' preexistent connections, we'll be set next year.

Um, you just contradicted yourself from your previous post. Are you posting just to pad your post count? If so, please quit.irishgo8 said:top 5???? probably top 15 but beat Ununited States California, Muchagain, Tennis shoes
Quality not quantity. It has been that way since the counter went up.Svoboda said:Um, you just contradicted yourself from your previous post. Are you posting just to pad your post count? If so, please quit.

I think you're on to something.Rip Rap said:For the love of God, we could have a top-10 class this year. Nobody has any idea who guys like Haywood, et al will steal from their old schools or pursuade to visit ND. We have several real bluechips looking at ND with Hord, Harris, Hardesty, etc. If we can put together some linemen and seal the deal on the bluechips we'll be fine.
Plus, I hate to burst anybody's bubble, but those rankings are essentially contrived anyway. Do you really think the #1 QB recruit is that much better then the #2 QB recruit? Or the #5? Or the #10? There must be a million senior QBs in this country looking at various colleges.
