Heard Maualuga might be getting in trouble for this, but I thought it was hilarious

Kids having fun. Don't tell me you wouldn't have.. Although I might not of. I don't find her as hot as 99% of the males in the world do.

I'm sure he'll get a slap on the wrist from it and will probably have to apologize to Ms. Andrews...but that was frickin hilarious. I despise USC, but I have nothing but respect for Maualuga. He is an absolute stud on the field (future Pro Bowler in my opinion) and is very well spoken off the field. Plus, he passed up millions of dollars so that he could finish school and get his degree. I have nothing but respect for Maualuga and Cushing...but screw the rest of the Trojans!

I agree. I hope the Browns draft him.

Funny, but sorry guys I think Rey is overrated. He has had some crushing hits in his time at U$C, but if you watch him from down to down I don't think he is worthy of all the talk he gets. McKillop (Spelling?) from Pitt is a much better everydown middle linebacker in my opinion.

I (respectfully!!!) disagree. When Rey got to USC, he came with a lot of hype, but he was also a major league punk. He was a major league drinker, and this is coming from frat boys I know personally at USC. Then his dad got cancer and died, and he became out of control. He drank even more and was a violent drunk. ESPN did a story on him a few months ago detailing his hardships. What they didn't tell you was the 2 times he col-cocked two different guys at 2 parties, and how his teammates had to beg the guys not to press charges. I'm not making this up, believe me. The guy was a complete mess, and an ahole to boot. But when you are a stud football player at U$C this shit gets swept under the rug (see: Mike Williams and Reggie Bush).

I would love to see that dude's school transcripts: In fact I'd pay to see them. I have no idea if he actually is a great student for sure but from hearing him talk and from hearing from people around USC, I'd venture to say not. I've written here before that I bet he couldn't even spell U-S-C. But that's how they roll at SC, and that's why I can't stand them.

Now, in his defense, in that ESPN piece, he accepted responsibility and knew he needed to change. And he did lose his dad. So whwn I saw that piece i gave him a lot of credit. And the dude is a straight baller. Not sure about how great of a pro he will be, but if he works hard he could be in the mode a Ray Lewis.

But then when I see the crap he pulled right now,and the TMZ shit, and the stories that float around about him, I remember why I'm not a big fan. So people think that was funny, but Erin Andrews is trying to do a job and he mocked her and embarrassed her like the immature kid that he is. He's the frat boy punk that I personally can't stand (ND doesn't have frats btw). I hope he does get punished but I don't see how. What are they going to tell him...that he has detention. When, after the class that he just skipped?

As for Cushing, I agree, he's a stud. And he was all ND too. Damn, but that's what happens when you switch coaches...you lose out on some verbals...

EDIT: Damn I'm long winded!

Great post NDinLA.

I was not aware of his early wrongdoings. Well, I may have been aware of it a few years ago, but my long term memory is gone (as is my short term...damn those college days). I believe what you wrote...as most of the student athletes at USC are trash from what I've seen. That is why I hate the Trojans and will support UCLA no matter how bad things are at Westwood and how good they are in South Central.

I still believe that he will be a stud on the field. He may have been overrated his first two years (in fact, he was clearly outplayed by Cushing his freshman and sophomore years), but it's hard to argue that he wasn't one of the best linebackers in all of college football the past two years. It seems like his game really took off when he grew up and I expect him to have a great NFL career.

typical U$C....

yep... and honestly I don't agree at all with that being funny... that's a female in a public setting... call me old school and I'll take it as a compliment... that was TOTALLY disrespectful... but completely expected from another self entitled SC brat...
