What was this for?Great example of something completely made up.
If CSuite is pushing out $6.7T a year, they would not blink an eye at $45M.I guess we differ on how well the CSuite will receive hearing that HR isn't going to spend 45 million filling the condom bowl outside of the meeting rooms for the Muslim inclusion resource group meetings anymore. 🤷♂️
She's totally ok to be named POTY, you have Putin/"You"/"Protestor" as previous winner. It's not like they're saying "This is the best person of the year".The problem is that you had publications like Time making her Person Of The Year.
Wrong Gaza.What was this for?
USAspending.gov

Department of State grant (2024) Recipient: UNFPA Award Amount: $45,000,000 Outlayed: $0 Purpose: Support sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care close to the displaced populations. Country: Gaza Strip
I mean..Wrong Gaza.
That was for the Gaza in Mozambique. It’s contraceptives for Africa to prevent malaria.
A program set up by GW.
(That’s Bush not Washing Toronto)

Is the US sending $50m in condoms to Gaza as Trump claims?
The US president has listed the stopping of condoms to Gaza as an accomplishment. But is he thinking of the wrong Gaza?www.aljazeera.com

Musk admitted he was wrong and acknowledged that the funds went to Africa yesterday...
“Mr. Musk, you said on X. That’s an example of the fraud that you have cited. Was $50 million of condoms were sent to Gaza. But after fact-checks on this. Apparently, Gaza in Mozambique, and the program was to protect them against HIV. So can you correct that statement?” a reporter asked Musk, who recently changed his name on X to “Harry Bolz,” as he took questions in the Oval Office.
“It wasn’t sent to Hamas. Actually, it was sent to Mozambique, which makes sense why condoms were sent there. And how can we make sure that all the statements that you said were correct so we can trust what you say?” added the reporter.
“Well, first of all, some of the things that I say will be incorrect and should be corrected. So nobody’s going to bat a 1,000. I mean, any, you know we will make mistakes, but we’ll act quickly to correct any mistakes,” Musk replied, adding:
While fact-checkers did uncover that the U.S. government sent condoms to Mozambique, many experts still highly doubt the figure Musk cited. USA Today ran a fact check of his claims and noted, “The U.S. Agency for International Development, the government agency responsible for administering civilian foreign aid and development assistance, said in a report last April that it had spent $61 million in 2023 to provide condoms and other contraceptives to other countries.”So, you know, if the– I’m not sure we should be sending $50 million worth of condoms to anywhere, frankly, I’m not sure that’s something Americans would be really excited about. But it’s really an enormous number of condoms. If you think about it. But, you know, if it went to Mozambique instead of Gaza, I’m like, okay, that’s not as bad. But still, you know, why are we doing that?
So just to a different Gaza? We're still 36T in the hole and spending money on condoms for Africans. That's so much better.Musk admitted he was wrong and acknowledged that the funds went to Africa yesterday...

Elon Musk Admits He Was Wrong About Gaza Condoms When Confronted By Reporter: ‘Some Things I Say Will Be Incorrect’

As Ben Franklin said, mind your pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.I'm not going to support paying ridiculous grants just because it isn't going to be the biggest chunk of the pie. Cut all of the waste. This insane defense of spending money on ridiculous grants, because it is "small", is a fight that Republicans should dig in on all day long. We don't need to spend any money on trans comic books for Peru, at all.
How refreshing. It’s not often when someone in D.C. admits a mistake. Regardless of the location, I’d much rather spend that money on our homeless problem and let Mozambique buy condoms for their citizens.Musk admitted he was wrong and acknowledged that the funds went to Africa yesterday...

Sure but that's not really the point. That money was designated for a republican lead effort that was congressionally funded. The president doesn't have the authority to just decide not to allow it to be paid. Certainly not an unelected, unappointed, regular citizen like Musk. Who at best didn't understand what he was even looking at before cutting $45 million dollars in funding, and at worst targeted that program in particular because the right hates Gaza. How refreshing. You think they care about helping the homeless? lol they don’t give a shit. It’s just about trivial window dressing cuts for gay or non white people so they can own da libz. This is essentially plastic straw mandate equivalent, and they’re so rock hard at it they can’t see the largest benefactor of government handouts is the one leading the charge and was put there by the guy who’s accountants fired him for being misleading.Sure but that's not really the point. I'm not going to cry over not spending money on field hospitals in Africa. But if you want to change how congress appropriates funds you need to elect different representatives.
What happens when they start cutting shit people care about instead?

Wasn’t that money going to housing and monthly payments to illegals?Sure but that's not really the point. That money was designated for a republican lead effort that was congressionally funded. This statement here is why I've decided not to get into a debate with you over this topic. It never ceases to amaze me how some political minded people can take a situations like this, and say It's the fault of the investigators. This is exactly my point.
People who don't actually care about waste and just want this done for political purposes will say stuff like this.
This statement here is why I've decided not to get into a debate with you over this topic. It never ceases to amaze me how some political minded people can take a situations like this, and say It's the fault of the investigators.
This DOGE is about government efficiency. I've not heard one person involved say anything about an audit. I have heard some parts of the media funded by USAID and their "Independent Media" which was brought to our attention years ago by Mike Benz, he's on most every popular podcast lately, I recommend looking him up and doing that research.
I'm sure you've seen the meme's with all news agencies saying the same thing as If everything was scripted the same way around the world. That's Independent media, and USAID funded media.
3 weeks in, and there are so many questions that need answered from the politicians involved and all you can keep saying Is, why aren't they going faster? Why are young guys finding fraud.
I know you're smart. Definitely more intelligent than I.
My biggest question would be. Why the animosity towards anything that would help cut our national deficit and start keeping the public in the know moving forward?
Elon Is a 400 billion dollar man. He's mad at the system that hurt his children. They woke up one of the smartest guys to ever exist, and you think he wants to steal and defraud the government? He's the most examined, scrutinized guy on earth right now. Trump Is a far 2nd. I'm pretty sure someone Is counting Elon's bowel movements these days and that's no joke.
Why are some people afraid of what they'll find?
I think most Americans are excited and relieved all at once. We finally get the answers to questions we all had but we're afraid to ask, for being wrong and not knowing all the facts.
You don’t really know the details of what their process is, but you’re sure it’s wrong. Lollol she's not even wrong. MAGA is really leaning into being a mass of financially illiterate dopes.
lol and you won't answer my response to your post. You don’t really know the details of what their process is, but you’re sure it’s wrong. Lol
I mentioned it in the other threat, but that is not entirely true. The President can go to Congress with all of these authorizations from the budget and ask to reprogram them during the year of execution, and they can do that.Sure but that's not really the point. Do us all a favor. Send Musk your resume. When he sees you can have everything audited and certified in a few weeks while saving several trillion dollars, I’m sure you’ll get hired.lol and you won't answer my response to your post.
Tell me what $40B is divided by $6.9T, and please post the % and tell us whether that % is high number or low number. Did you do the napkin math before getting all excited at that lovely pixelated MAGA influencer account?
You would hate it. Not enough lib tearz to satisfy you, wouldn't be able to have GunnerEagleMan1488 doing pixelated meme's about me.Do us all a favor. Send Musk your resume. When he sees you can have everything audited and certified in a few weeks while saving several trillion dollars, I’m sure you’ll get hired.
Yeah the operative word there being “ask”.I mentioned it in the other threat, but that is not entirely true. The President can go to Congress with all of these authorizations from the budget and ask to reprogram them during the year of execution, and they can do that.
I mean we still don't have a budget for the fiscal year we are operating under, we're still under CR. And to anybody's knowledge, this money has not been reprogrammed or directed towards other efforts. You don't have to ask permission to not spend it, it's not like the money for USAID efforts were appropriated by Congress to be spent on the 12th of February 2025. It's not a uniquely Trump thing to alter the execution of the previous president's budget in the year of execution.Yeah the operative word there being “ask”.
Easiest way I can sum It up, If USAID where to exist like It has for the last 60+ years, while all the other agencies are being investigated.Political minded? I've said this process needs to be done by a non-partisan 3rd party. I think you're mistake for who is being political.
All I keep saying? Brother, you can go back through my responses. I've lead forensic financial investigations. My criticisms are that it isn't even being done to the level that I have seen. Fraud? If there was actual fraud we would be seeing the results of those findings and not receive links to DailyCaller links citing statements made by Elon Musk. That may work on MAGA grandpa's who can't really figure out meme's vs actual findings, but for anyone in this area it's just political theatre.
Let me simplify it for you - If your house was burning down and the firefighters showed up and were able to save your garden gnomes from being touched instead of rushing into your house to stop the fire, would say they're focusing on the important things?
Now, if Elon was truly truly focusing on reducing government expenses, why wouldn't he start with all of the government subsidies he receives? Say that Elon was truly this benevolent person, why not personally refund the American people the $2B in regulatory credits he received? What about returning half of the $20B that SpaceX got from the government? You ask why I'm skeptical of Elon Musk, his businesses rely on the Government, so it seems pretty rich for him to take aim at USAID which represents ~6% of the total interest payments on the deficit per year. I know others here can't understand that, but I'm hoping you will.
I don't think anyone is afraid, at all. I think people just want a transparent process that focuses on the matters that help the most amount of people. Why are MAGA supporters afraid of having an independent non-partisan well established firm conduct an analysis? I'm sure you know that a firm like EY/KPMG isn't some hippy collective, they have well established ethical principles that have actual playbooks to address something like this. Why is MAGA afraid of that?
I can promise you that the DoD spending will be able to hold their own and that the spending from USAID is a drop in the bucket.Easiest way I can sum It up, If USAID where to exist like It has for the last 60+ years, while all the other agencies are being investigated.
They would be funding the disinformation campaign at full force.
USAID Is bigger than most of us can wrap our heads around at this time. It will all be revealed in time, and we have 4 more years of this coming.
I believe USAID Is the head of the snake. All of these agencies have known for 2 months that DOGE was coming. If they couldn't hide the fraud in that amount of time, then the others are dead in the water as well. Government moves at a snails pace, and the work that's already been revealed is astonishing.
There's also the national security part of it all. We don't know half the fraud yet.
I come at this from a very biased point of view, I admit, but I always question this. What should we be spending on defense? And what would you cut?I can promise you that the DoD spending will be able to hold their own and that the spending from USAID is a drop in the bucket.
How can you say it's bigger than anyone can wrap their head around? The numbers are there, and there are countless years of audited financial statements from multiple CPA firms. Are you making the claim that those audits missed fraud? I encourage you to read the audit reports issued, I know the others here won't want to read them because it'll ruin their worldview but you would find them interesting.
I come at this from a very biased point of view, I admit, but I always question this. What should we be spending on defense? And what would you cut?
Also, if our military budget was $0 last year, the deficit would still be nearly $1 Trillion. Entitlement reform is far and away the biggest driver of the deficit
