#1 Kicker Eddy Pineiro Decommits from Alabama - suck it Saban

Griffith may forego his last year of eligibility to concentrate on his masters and if so, that leaves Bama with only JK Scott for FG duty. The Pineiro decommit would be a little more substantial at that point.

At Georgia, Jacob Eason stays. Bailey Hockman, QB recruit, decommits.

Darion Anderson, WR, decommits. Anderson is the first decommit from the state of Georgia and is a three star. Georgia still has two WR verbals. Related to Demetris Robinson interest?

In-house Coaching changes

In-house Coaching changes

Examples of three schools who promoted Coordinators from within are Missouri, South Carolina and USC.

Decommitments
Missouri (1) Bryce Banks (for personal reasons, good story)

South Carolina (4) Two before the season (Kyle Davis, and Stephen Davis, Jr), two after Spurrier retired (Bryan Edwards, Kelvin Harmon)

Southern California (4) Two before the season (Melquise Stovall, Isaac Garcia) and two after Sark's firing (Daelin Hayes, Mique Juarez)

If you take personal reasons and before the season out of the equation, two each from South Carolina and USC decommitted after in-house coaching changes.

Legacy,

I would recommend updating the OP as opposed to individual posts. Otherwise no one is gonna be able to keep track of all you hard work and it will invariably become buried by quips on Alabama's kicker status.

This deserves its own thread, I wonder how shaken Bama is going into the playoffs with this devastating moral blow. Expecting it to make ESPN/SI headline any minute now.....

Let's try that, Cack. Quips are welcome.

Private schools' teams decommitment numbers

Private schools' teams decommitment numbers

In addition to Miami (12) and USC (4) which had coaching changes and were reviewed already, TCU has had five decommitments.

Yet many of private schools' decommitment numbers are non-existent - Notre Dame (0), Stanford (0), Northwestern (0), Vanderbilt (0)

Some of the difference factors may include coaches' and schools' philosophies on verbal commitments, clearing admissions first, and even geography. Miami, TCU and USC are in talent-rich recruiting areas with a number of other competing schools in the same state.

Original Post is updated with the decommitments for TCU.

Ok... I'll be the socially insensitive schmuck and add that it just may have something to do with the type of players the (0) Club members are recruiting.

Original Post Updated with the following teams' decommitment info:

Florida (7) Branton Autry, Jayvaughn Myers, Spencer Perry, Isaiah Johnson, JaQuan Bailey, Eric Mitchell, Tyrek Tisdale.
---After Mitchell's and Bailey's decommitments this week, a Gator blog article observes (the decommitments) "could scarcely make Florida's aim to clear brush while seeking timber more obvious". Both were DEs (Florida had five DE verbals and they are pursuing a couple more higher-rated DL recruits). Florida's current class stands at twenty-five.

UCLA (6) MIchael Pittman, Sean Auwae, Oluwole Betiku, Jordan Parker, Chris Gaston, Bailey Raborn

Tennessee (6) Austin Kendall, Brodarious Hamm, Chidi Okonya, D'andre Christmas-Giles, Dorian Banks, TaDarryl Marshall (Marshall said his scholarship offer was pulled.)

*****Decommitments from some public universities with few decoms:

Penn State (1) Lavert Hill

Alabama (1) Eddie Pineiro

Texas (0)

Clemson (1), Oklahoma (2) and Michigan State(3) decommitments added to O.P.

Recent decommitments and commits updated to listed teams.

Missouri stunned.
Florida, Miami, and South Carolina continue to be fluid.

Muschamp hired a crack recruiter, Travaris Robinson, from Auburn with focus on their D recruits at Auburn as well as Georgia's former recruiting coordinator.

Raekwan Davis, NT flipped from Alabama to Mississippi State, reportedly. This isn't over with an Alabama official visit still to come - or to cancel.

Tim Hart, LB, decommits from Tennessee, bashing coaching staff.
"I am displeased to announce that because of poor communication and lack of openness...."

Beau Bisharat, RB/LB, decommits from Stanford. Maybe Oregon about whom he says about their frankness and openness
"That's a big deal in recruiting. You don't want to get a bad reputation. That was great of Oregon to do. I really did appreciate that they were honest the whole way through," he told The Oregonian. "They didn't say, 'Hey, come play running back for us.' Then, I commit and they switch me defense. That was great of them. Coach (Mark) Helfrich and everybody at Oregon was honest through the whole thing."
His dad played for Oregon.

Eddie McDoom decommitted from Oregon. He wanted to visit Michigan, so Oregon pulled his scholarship since they expect that after their commitment decision they will not make other visits.

Sir Patrick Scott decommitted from Michigan, probably pushed out by impending commitments at his position and overall numbers. He had committed to Michigan last August and needs to reopen his recruitment.

Patrice Rene, Rutger's highest rated recruit, became Rutger's ninth decommitment.

Karamo Dioubate decommitted from Penn State after a visit to Auburn. He has scheduled an Official to Michigan State and is from Pennsylvania.

Patrice swaped Rutgers for UNC.

Karamo Dioubate would be worth a call, IMO.
