It’s just one of those games... It’s Syracuse’s super bowl and we have small game mistakes.
We’ll be fine..

Isn't this a game that our offensive line and Kyren were supposed to RTDB down throats?

Agree but we need style points. Like Clemson scoring 31 pts in the 1st quarter last week

I dont understand why anyone is surprised. ND rarely dominates a team from the start. Their offense lacks big play and is at it's best when Book runs and improvises. Seems like the coaches told him not to run because of concern of injury. Therefore our offense isn't good.

As I write this I watch Book run for the first time and we score a TD.

It is just disappointing that they need him to do that on offense to be successful.

Also peeved at Kelly's arrogance to always want the ball first. It's a macho thing for him...we are going to receive the ball and march down the field and score a TD. When in reality ND hardly ever scores a TD on its opening drive and it gives the other team momentum and an advantage having the ball to start the second half.

How was that penalty a bs call? Hands to the face mask is a legitimate reason to throw the flag!
Jesus some of you people...

So lucky! Kraemer #78 had his hands on the DL face mask for at least 3 seconds prior to the TD run...should have been called.

Refs loving the Irish for a change

The story will be

It was a game at half, then the talent and depth took hold and ND pulled away winning by 25+.

It’s going to be fine. Calm the F down.

We aren’t falling out of the playoff by WINNING this game. A blowout to Clemson puts us in a bad spot either way. Smoking this team does almost nothing for the resume. I would rather win by a lot, but our performance against Clemson is what matters.

Seeding doesn’t matter either, as long as we get in. Beat Clemson and we’re 1 or 2. Lose to Clemson (competitive) and we’re probably 4. No way losing close (assuming Bama winning out) knocks us out. I think we likely get in no matter what if we are competitive with Clemson

When Clemson played Syracuse they were only up 7 at the end of the third quarter. Syracuse can play they just can’t sustain throughout a full game

Don’t know if there is indisputable evidence to overturn. It’s all about the call on the field with this type of review.

I wouldn’t say rarely. Think we’ve scored on our first drive 7/10 times with 4 or 5 being touchdowns.
