Clausen has 14 TDs and 8 INTs this year to go with 7 TDs and 6 INTs this year. And that was accomplished against pretty lousy competition generally speaking.

Allow me to give you a comparison:
Cody Hawkins, another sophomore, who plays against much better competition and is way less heralded. In fact, lots of people think he sucks.

Hawkins: 12 TDs and 6 INTs this year to go with 22 TDs and 17 INTs last year.

that Cody Hawkins comment reminds me of when ppl were saying that Jacory Harris was better than Clausen. Mark May being one of those ppl...I laughed at the suggestion then, and look at that now. Jacory Harris looks like he may not even get his starting job back from a freshman.

Miami fans have moved on from the Harris hype. They're saying Teddy Bridgewaters is the turth, now.. I even had one Maimi fan say that Joe Montana even said "Teddy Bridgewater was NFL ready." Funny thing is, I watch Teddy on ESPNU high school and he wasn't that impressive..
