Just saw this on the bottom line of espnews. I'm suprised. Did he graduate yet? It can't be for the $. Isn't he already a millionare from a lawsuit he won. Aldridge better be ready.

I think it is a good move for Darius. It is clear that Aldridge would get more playing time next year which would mean less carries for darius.

I'm pretty sure he's graduating. He took courses during the summers to get ahead.im surprised all of the "ND GRADS" arent upset. this means one less football player graduates.

Does it really matter to you? I mean, I am excited for the guy if he can make it in the NFL. He can always come back and get the degree when football is over.

Press conference said he will take 15hrs this next semester, and then need 4 classes after that.
WNDU says his mother promises he'll graduate ... all I need to hear.
Hey fellas whats up. Long time reader first time post.
I like walker and all but I'm ready for all the young blood we have. I'm looking forward to seeing all this young talent on display next year. Walkers good not great and I believe aldrige or allen will fill in nicely. I was actually a huge walker fan until that USC game in 05 where on that final drive to take the lead I seen him looking at the sidelines and I sceamed at the tv dont run out of bounds. But sure enough he did stoping the clock when we still had 3 timeouts left and no need to run out of bounds. Sometimes he's afraid of contact and still to this day if he would have stayed in bounds and let the clock keep ticking we win that game. So bring on the big bruser in aldrige.

exactly. that is very reassuring.
by the way, does anyone know if Julius Jones ever graduated? I know he was very, very close.
Q. You've touched the ball over 800 times during the last three seasons, any concern about putting more mileage on top of that? I know scouts think about that, if a guy has fresh legs coming out of college or whether he's taken too much of a beating. Were you worried what another season of catches or touches would do?
Darius Walker: You know, injuries and things always play a factor in decisions like this. Worrying about what could possibly happen next year, the uncertainties of possibly getting injured in the next season, things like that.
Q. On the business end of things, do you already have representation? Have you already signed off on that? Where are you in that process?
Darius Walker: No. That's definitely the next step now, to try to find an agent and to try to get through all the legalities that come along with making yourself eligible for the NFL Draft.
Great analysis Flea
