I know; this time of year is the absolute worst. The NBA has completely gone to crap (though I did somewhat enjoy the Bulls-Pistons game yesterday; it blows, though, to get beaten by fricking C-Webb), and my Yankees are turning into an unwatchable soap opera. By the time September rolls around my wife and I will have built up so much pre-football steam, we'll probably paint the kid green for opening day. Either that or do something crazy like blow all our savings on plane tickets to South Bend ...

I am rather enjoying how well C-Webb has fit in so far

and on the topic of money, you should definitely blow all your savings and fly to South Bend. unless the savings are for your kids future tuition to ND, in which case you should save every penny of it.

My 6 month old Golden Retriever's name is Brady, although I have to admit that it is only 50% because of Brady Quinn. My daughter's two favorite football players are Brady Quinn and Tom Brady. Maybe we should have named him Brady Brady.

Thanks for all the advice, guys ... we actually have been going out on an obscene number of "dates" -- basically we've blown all our money on that instead of getting all the unnecessary kid stuff everyone says you need. Good times.
