I agree Military. Good points.
Hind sight is always 20/20 but I think it is hard for young men to follow the direction of a leader if there are two.
A not so related example is of a General in the military. There is a reason only one leads men into battle. Because he is the only one they take orders from.
Same with a coach you should only have one that primarily directs you. I know in this case the General would be the Head Coach, but his Lieutenants would be assistant coaches. You can't have two Lieutenants guiding the same unit. There are bound to be factions that follow one and not the other. Just my opinion.
The bolded part I strongly agree with. I think Weis was just trying to figure out how to win, without really knowing how to win.
