I think all ND problems would be solved if we could recruit or coach up DB's better. For the last 20 years, we've always had a decent offense. It's the D that kills us year in and year out. I'm at work so my mind is in other places, but I literally can't think of a shut down corner that ND has had off the top of my head. Or even a really really good corner. I keep wanting to say Shane Walton was the last corner that impressed me.

Guys, he literally sits down in a production meeting and comes up with how he's going to troll for clicks/listens. His views are completely inauthentic... he'll completely contradict himself a week later taking the opposite point of view just for fun. I can't believe anyone listens to him.

Clay Travis is 100x more interesting if you're inclined to listen to troll-ish radio. At least Travis has original thought and intriguing things to say.

Cowherd knows on a slow day, he can dial up the " ND fan base is delusional" rhetoric and the clicks & calls will follow in droves. He's admitted as much.

My two favorite guys to listen to when talking CFB are Mark Packer & Bill King. They don't troll. They love CFB & stay in their lane. They respect ND & give them props when worthy & criticize when unworthy. In fact, they've treated every team that way when I've listened to them.

Dogging Notre Dame is the biggest catch 22 in sports. Whens the last time any team outside the Big10, besides arkasas (for obvious reasons), was compared to Wisconcin? Would anyone ever argue, for instance, UCLA is a better program than Wisconsin? No.Not because there isnt an argument to be made but cause no one gives a shit about them. By continually to attack Notre Dame you only validate its position as among the College Football Hierarchy.

Isn't that the point though? Our program is less than Wisconsin. There is no arguement to be made. Wisconsin is that work horse. The guy you count on every day to get it done. ND is not. I have no shame in stating that. Its just where ND is as a program. Mediocre. For the last 30 years. Year 8 in the Kelly era and most publications don't have ND ranked in the Top25.
