I wouldn't say great. He ended up with 61 yards and 2 TDs but 59 of those yards came on the opening drive.

We have enough speed to disrupt MSU's defense, but it isn't going to help being on the side line. I'd like to see controlled packages for Davonte, and GAIII. Get them the ball in space

A very likely scenario. We did keep Le'Veon Bell to 27 yards rushing on seven carries last season. No doubt he'll do better this year, but if it turns into a gun-slinging competition, Golson > Maxwell, IMO.

I would LOVE to see them get the ball to Cierre in this way to start the game instead of just pounding him between the tackles right off the bat.

Me too. Including the "Chris Brown is really fast" look. I'll be surprised if we continue to see him not get any touches with how much we've heard about his speed.

You know, it was really interesting.

I went to a local pizza place after the Purdue game and was wearing a Cierre Wood jersey.

The lady behind the counter asked me where I got the Cierre jersey. After I answered she went on to tell me and my friend that her son lives with Cierre and 4 other football players and started laughing when my buddy said something about him being suspended......hmmm.....

You're right,but great things are expected from a 1000 yard runner,plus he owes us for getting in trouble.Cierre knows he let his team down now he has a chance to make it up.

So good to have him back. Without him, this game would have been a nail bitter. Wood is so critical for the success of this team going forward. He will eventually surpass Theo and be the work horse.
