Martin is easy to root for. It’s always a gamble to take a MAC job b/c it could derail the path to a P5 gig. If he’s gonna make that leap, it may be now or never as he’s not getting any younger.

beating Toledo would be huge but its a tall order. Rockets were 1 play away from being undefeated and the NY6 Bowl game shake up

Martin needs to look at the first half film of what BG did to Toledo offensively. They were running on first down with great success and had a 28-10 lead. Then they stopped doing that and lost.

Take the game to Toledo. Give them enough respect but don't fear them. BG play called scared in the second half and lost the game.

Wild he’s been there for 10 years and has an overall losing record. The patience of a mid-major compared to Power 5 is insane.

With that said. I’d be cautious hiring someone who has had one great season in 10 years.

Always thought he was pretty down to Earth and ultimately a good coach. To coach defense for nearly 20 years and then make a switch to OC, at Notre Dame of all places, can't be that easy of a transition.
