The bullpen has been very good to great since the trade deadline. Bullpen by committee with Jordan Hicks, Sean Newcomb, Bryan Hudson, Huascar Brazobán, Trevor Richards, and Erick Fedde and Grant Taylor being my favorite… Nasty 12-6 curve!!

It’s not too bad if you’re going south. You can hop right on 90 in Chinatown or cut over on Cermak to Ashland or Damen for 55.

North ramps at Roosevelt and 18th street put you right in 90/94/290 nightmare.

The current ballpark is 35 years old and they've done renovations to it, but whatever. If this is part of Ishbia moving in and Jerry moving out, that's the main proposition I'm concerned with. Modernize the front office and franchise from top to bottom. It's time to become a modern MLB franchise and no longer function under Jerry's nepo madness of former players and loyalists. Invest in scouting, tech, analytics and the farm system like other teams do.

New ballpark isn't even the tip of the iceberg.

Sox are third in the AL in OBP, but the SLG has dipped and they sit at 7th. Which means OPS is now 6th.

Their SLG dropping has coincided with this rougher patch lately. Bar go far team go far.

There are 12 games left and they have a two game lead in the loss column on Cleveland. They can't give him a week off. I don't think you start jacking around with the order either.

I do agree that if he were hitting more home runs and or getting on base, that would be great, but I don't see any obvious replacement for him coming off the bench to give these plate appearances to.

But the way this team is playing lately, I have little hope. They've been atrocious. 5-12 over the past 17 games, and now they're in 2nd in the Central and clinging to a 1.5 game lead for the final wildcard spot.

They needed last night. NEEDED it. And it's looking like they're catching Detroit at a bad time, as they're currently riding a 6 game winning streak and they're leading Toronto. Very bad situation having a 4-game series with one team that's riding hot, while another is in the midst of a catastrophic collapse.

This shit sucks...

Cleveland has a three game set at Fenway. Much rather see Detroit at home than that.

They're tied in the lost column. Critical that the Sox win tomorrow and pick up the stupid jack wagon half game because Cleveland doesn't play.
