Damn....I feel like a small piece of my childhood died with this one. As a kid growing up in indiana before the ponies snuck in, the bears and ND were my football means. Remember mom and dad letting me stay up late as a 7 year old to watch the smackdown of the pats in New Orleans. RIP coach

My condolences to the Bears fans - Ditka was a legend. Da Bears by a million this weekend in his honor.

6 NFC Central titles in 7 years. 3 NFC Championship Games in 5 years. 1 Super Bowl. The franchise didn't have a run like that ever again.

As a player in the early 60s, he helped redefine the tight end position. He is a Chicago sports legend as a player and coach. We're not known for winners, but when we get one, we hang on and love them forever. That was Ditka. From a personal standpoint, his connections to Western PA and Chicago connect on both sides of my family.

For Holtz and Ditka to both be gone now is very sobering.

I believe he still owns the YPG record for rookie tight ends. His production was truly absurd for the 60s

Caleb Hanie. Josh McCown. Tyler Bagent.

All bad.

Need Caleb back like right the fuck now.

The defense made a very mediocre quarterback look like a Hall of Famer today. Absolutely torched by a team that was struggling. Looking forward to seeing adjustments. Looking forward to getting these again at Soldier Field.

Ben didn’t have his team ready today. Completely shit the bed at the start of the game, then completely shit the bed coming out if half when they had momentum.

Play calling sucked. Bagent was a deer in the headlights. Offense never had a chance to establish rhythm. Then the defense eventually imploded.

Ben totally failed at football this week.

They missed Monongai but my God those big pass plays were putrid.

Watching Bagent throw a football makes you appreciate Caleb's arm strength. They're not even remotely close.

They skated by with the deficiencies at QB the past 2 weeks. Today they reared their ugly heads.

That and the very instant we started thinking the defense was kinda good, they went back to being turbo ass.

Yeah but he doesn't paint his nails so clearly Bagent is a better QB.

This came up during the gubernatorial "forum" with Pritzker and his opponent Darren Bailey the other night.

Bailey said that Indiana Governor Mike Braun told him Hammond is a "done deal." LOL

Progress started happening as soon as Kevin Warren was cut out of the process.

Sounds increasingly more likely that Caleb plays on Sunday. They definitely need him

What's with all the empty seats in atlanta
Atlanta is Dawgs and Braves country. If you include other SEC schools and Tech the Falcons are probably not in the top 5 most popular football teams in area.

Cairo saved Ben with the career long, because that dumb handoff to the Tuney that stalled a potential TD drive could have been costly.

Love Ben and I think he's the dude, but he still makes some head scratching decisions sometimes.

Also, on the Tuney trickeration.....how do they not check with the League or an internal consultant to know the rule before trying that?

I hope this organization and fanbase do not start taking certain people for granted.

Ben needs to start beating NFC North teams.

All coaches make head scratching decisions. Johnson is one of the best coaches in football and he’s only going to get better. The Bears finally have a franchise QB and coach. Enjoy the ride.

The Bears knocked the Packers out of the playoffs last year and went 2-1 against them. Bears also won the division in year one of Johnson and were a play away from the NFC championship game. Packers kicked the shit out of the Bears this year without Caleb in Lambeau. One more game to go this year with them in Soldier Field. As long as Caleb stays healthy they are winning that game. Let’s see who wins the division.

Matt Eberflus was a disgrace. Anyone could beat that guy. He sucked and the Bears still beat the Packers two seasons ago. The tide is changing.
