Bizarre offensive game plan that was not aided by Carr playing a mediocre game. You can circle a lot of drives, but the six points on two short fields in the third quarter summed up the game. Throwing fades in the end zone from the 25 when you've just grabbed momentum? Run it and attack the boundary. 49 passing attempts, way too many.

Proud of the heart of this team. Very tough environment but they kept swinging. Thought we were going to win but now get to take out #1 at home in a few weeks. Would’ve been great to get a top 10 win on the road. It’s wide open and no one is perfect out there.

The 3 play calls after the Sanders interception were a fireable offense, both for Denbrock who called them and for his boss Marcus, who you know was in his ear about bring conservative.

The passing game design is just mediocre. It’s not good enough for championship caliber football. Maybe it works with Jayden, Nabers, and Brian Thomas but it doesn’t with our good not great receiving core.
