Bucket List

I've been thinking about this lately and want to put one together and wondered if anyone else had one also. For anyone who doesn't know what a Bucket List is, it's a list of things you would like to do before you die.

I have only come up with a few things so far.

1) Run through the tunnel in Notre Dame stadium (I finally found out how to do that by running in a marathon that ends by running throught the tunnel)

2) Visit the ancient wonders (Pyramids, Stone Henge, Great Wall of China, ect...)

3) Meet and actually talk to a President, any President.

and the list goes on and I am still trying to figure out more things I would enjoy.

Just thought I would see if anyone one else had a list.

6. Die in no less than 6 more decades without seeing the Cubs win a World Series

9. Go on a 12 hour "heater" in Vegas at a craps table
10. Host a newly rebooted version of "Press Your Luck"

I tried Absinthe while in Germany for a stay over before heading to our next destination. It was the last time I was going to be able to drink for 5 months, so I had to take advantage. I really don't prefer the taste, but it sure does do the job.

I've added a couple, I want to open a Boys and Girls Club, or something similiar. Don't know why but I have always wanted to do that.

I want to go to the Vatican, and see Windsor Castle.

Spend a day or possibly a week, barring time, with the Monks in India.

2. See all of my children back in full communion with the Church.

3. Live long enough to see my grandaughter graduate from college.

4. Go back to Tybee Island, GA, several more times, finally for good, to take over the job of the old campground host riding around on that little golf cart.

5. Die in my sleep, before my wife dies. I don't think I could live without her.

6 Things and have been able to do only 3. I have 3 left-World Series Game, British Open and Notre Dame in a Major Bowl game. My 3 that have been done- Masters, Indy 500 and Notre Dame southern cal in South Bend.

IrishinFL, the cheapest/easiest way I can think of to make that happen is by attending the ND coaches clinic in the spring. If you have a interest in football you really don't have to be a coach to attend. They do locker room tours, you can walk the steps, touch the sign, have pictures with it...really a neat experience that I recommend 110%. Much cheaper than the fantasy camp where I'm sure you'd get access also.

I have alot of the same things that some of you have. One that I have on my list that I haven't seen here yet is to see a cheetah run full speed in the wild... I think that would be awsome... To see an animal run 70+ mph....

That would be pretty cool, but you might want to observe that from a helicopter or a very fast vehicle. 70+ mph is pretty fast especially when the thing that is doing it could rip you to shreds.

Well.... I guess that is true.. LOL. Never thought about that part of it.. Maybe one of those safari jeeps will be suffecient protection!
