The coaches on the right seem every bit if not more successful than the ones listed on the left.

BK isn’t going anywhere. His contract is huge. He can coast into retirement if he likes

Yes, I got the right reference to Boutte in the post ... but Boutte didn't exactly have the greatest season for himself either --- almost as if it took half the year for the QB to start seriously targeting him. So he might well want to come back.

He would probably be a first rounder if he went to the combine and showed what he is capable of doing.

The red flags on the other hand might bump that down, but another year with the Swamp Aggies would probably magnify those red flags even more.

He has a solid enough body of work that if he did well at the combine, he would be fine.

History isn’t kind to college WRs who play 4 years.

LSU team site had said he wasn’t playing the bowl simply because he violated a team rule. So was that BS or did he say nah I’m out actually?

LSU you had a better season than Boutte did. BK doesn't need Boutte to do well at LSU. Their receiver room is solid.

Coach Kelly, by the way, got a WR through the portal, who was a 247 WR with over a 0.98 rating (i.e. 5* or darn near)
Freshman redshirt who came over from Alabama. Louisiana native coming back home. Blazer with serious slot and kick return potential.

Doubt that Coach is sobbing too much about Boutte. He also picked up FOUR DLinemen via the portal. Recruiting problems at LSU ---NOT.

Personnel wise he will definitely be fine, but I do think the bigger point at hand is that BK was used to fairly low maintenance personnel at ND, and at LSU, he will have many more test of wills with personnel.

I’m not saying ND doesn’t or didn’t have rotten apples, but LSU will surely have more. It comes with being able to recruit with a wider net, you will catch more that need to be thrown back.
