You should call Jack Swarbrick's office. Is there ANYTHING that ND does, that you approve of?

Yeah, a lot. You realize this is a message board for discussion, right? I hope so after the lecture you gave me on how my 'quick hits' thread was against the website's purpose, lol.

You're not going to see 20 posts back and forth among posters about things they agree on. What are they supposed to discuss? Who agrees harder? Lol.

Disagreements spark discussion, which when cordial, promotes understanding. Just men talking to men here.

If BK had an issue with his contract we would have heard his name being thrown around for the Texas job. Even if he wasn't interested(N Saban), his name would have surfaced as a bargaining ploy.

I haven't seen BK's contract --- has anyone? I presume that there are terms that spell out acceptable sources of income derived from his association with ND. Does anyone know the sources of "extracurricular" income and the amounts?

As to boosters making direct payment to coaches, I don't think that that's allowed by the NCAA. I spent some time doing research, but I'm not nearly as adept as BGIF. The most recent cite I found was a proposal in 2012 to amend the rules to allow it but could not find if it was voted up or down. Boosters are free to donate to the Athletic Department but that then triggers direct oversight and decision-making by the administration and Board of Trusteess on how the funds are disbursed.

I may be as wrong as wrong can be, but that's my take, my opinion.

For example, jimbo shitheels contract extension, signed Jan 2014.

free seafood u only pays him $225,000 annually. OMG HOW CAN HE WORK FOR THAT LITTLE??!!!1

Fisher will earn a base salary of $225,000 annually in funds paid by Florida State. He will then receive $3.275 million in 2014 from Seminole Boosters, Inc. The booster-funded portion jumps to $4.275 million in 2018.
