I don't know. Alabama played Michigan and went to Penn State. LSU has played WVU and Oregon lately. Florida has FSU every year and South Carolina has Clemson. Arkansas and Georgia may not play anyone outside the conference, but plenty of their other heavy hitters do.

I would hardly consider one big game every three years outside of conference makes that statement worthy. Also, Bama played two great programs outside of conference, not great teams. South carolina/clemson and florida/florida state are both rivalry games that have been on schedules for years.

Does anyone know for sure if Neal is the guy replacing GAIII for kickoffs?

You never know, Neal hasn't got a single shot to strut his stuff on punts, he could have his coming out party with a KO return today.

I actually agree with Sooner above. I sometimes feel that our running game has "too many cooks in the kitchen". By only using two backs, GAIII's 5-10 touches will either go to Cierre/Theo and designed QB runs. It might make us more dynamic, who knows.

I agree, not many teams really use a three running back system much anyway. Wood and Riddick will be fine.

They're more than most Big 12 teams play outside the conference. Some years OU or Texas will sked a big game (like tonight), but that's about it. Okie State? Texas Tech?

Also, Michigan was a top ten team coming off a BCS bowl win when they played Alabama. I know we like to talk them down around here, but they don't suck.

that cut was boss.

GAIII can cut and make himself nearly impossible to take down at times. What I see is that he still dancing a little too much on occasion. Sometimes if he would just stick his toe in the ground and go he'd break more. Sammy Watkins, Ace Saunders, and DeAnthony Thomas film should be cut up and given to GAIII for Xmas by Kelly.

So now that we broke down OU, literally, where are the big mouths who came here talking junk? (Not you nice OK posters who had decent analysis yet still came to the very wrong conclusion. I like you guys.)

Of course, when I started this thread, never believed it would get the attention of OU trolls (not all the posters were trolling) and they put their 2 cents in of how the Irish were going to be dominated. And, some of their statements of 'we'll see come Saturday night' arrogance. I would really like to hear from them and the way they saw the game. Looking at their forum, they sound pretty pissed.

GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering the exact same thing, and in traditional fashion they will most likely never be heard from again. The simple fact of the matter is that the Notre Dame defense ate Oklahoma alive, especially in their rushing attack that averaged like 0.5 yards per carry and amassed under 20 yards total.
