Just Curious - Is This Possible?

You guys know WAY more than I do about how the bowls select teams and possible match-ups. I'm just curious - as that loss still sticks in my throat - if it's possible our boys could see Michigan in a bowl game?

I'm not well-versed at all about how the selections are made, and before anybody gets nervous, I'm not looking for predictions on how our season plays out, I'm just wondering if there's any scenario where we'd get to beat the Skunkbears in a game that would really rip their black hearts out?

If I'm not mistaken, it would have to be a BCS bowl for us to meet up and still fall in line with each teams current bowl affiliations. Although, I'm not really sure. Someone else probably knows better.

I don't think it would be possible for us to play them in a bowl period. Unless it was the toilet bowl.

Really strange that you posted this, because I was wondering the same thing this morning. As I went on base this morning, the gate guard saw my ND gear and remarked "Go Michigan." Obviously I couldn't say anything back, but I wanted to tell him we'd kick their a$$es if we were to meet again...

Thanks... I kinda figured as much, but for some reason, that loss really bothers me, and I was hoping there might be the opportunity for post-season revenge.

Yeah, if we both went 10-2 and met as at-larges. Honestly, I think Michigan is back. OSU is struggling and it seems just like FSU/UF from last year where FSU got Jimbo and started recruiting amazing. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Mich beat OSU to end the year, have 9/10 wins, and out-recruit them the next couple years.

Agreed. ND would likely have to run the table while Michigan would have to finish 2nd in Big ? so Wisconsin goes to the Rose Bowl. Nebraska could foul that up. Lots of season to play and lots of other teams would have to cooperate.

As I've stated numerous times on this board, my bro's a huge Michigan fan, even though HE WAS BORN IN EAST LANSING!

The last three losses have really chapped my ***, and I would ALMOST sell my soul to beat the living shite out of Michigan.

To say the loss hurt, would be the biggest understatement..........ever!

Did you watch the last two Michigan games? Where we lost to a single player, at the last minute, in soul-crushing fashion both times? If I never see Robinson lined up on the field against the Irish again, it'll be too soon.
