I just don't see what that information would do to benefit the search and didn't want the thread to diverge into a tangent on eastern-block motivations. That's all. We're united in the desire to bring murderers to justice.

I don't think it has anything to do with where they're from, I think, sadly, it's another case of Islamic extremism.

it dosent make much sense to me for a Chechan group to stage such an attack like this on American soil. Sure they are islamists but their beef is with Putin and Moscow and the recognition of Chechnya as a nation, not with America. Why would they do this and bring the eyes of America onto them?

I'm educated on the politics of the region, yes. The Chechens rebels are in fact Islamic terrorists. Like I said, I don't know if the OP was referring to me specifically, I am trying too offer some insight about what we are up against. Interesting because Russia has been accused of setting up terrorist attacks within Russia and blaming it on the Chechens. This is one of the contributing factors in how they kicked off the 2nd War.

You know conspiracy theorists will be saying they did this again in Boston so the world wont feel so bad when they begin cracking down on the Chechens again.

The older brother obviously had a bomb vest strapped on. The surgeon who dealt with him at the hospital couldn't tell whether he died of bomb or bullet wounds. That is what I am talking about.
