Can't stand Brady or the Pats, but tbh the game wasn't even close. The real losers are probably the Seahawks. Pats should have had to forfeit the game and Indy should have moved on, who probably then loses to Seattle in the Super Bowl. Can't stand Caroll either, so fuck that last Super Bowl.
Just because the game wasn't close doesn't mean it's not cheating.
While at purdue, I knew a girl that was caught cheating on an exam. She was given a zero percent (class policy for 1st offense, 2nd offense is automatic failure of the class).
This girl was brilliant, easily would have had a 90 percent, (which would have been one the tops in the class, easily an A after the curve).
She didn't need to cheat, because she would have had an A anyways. But she did, and she was punished as if she were a slacker trying to cheat their way into passing the course.
You can't say cheating doesn't matter based on the outcome of the game, the score is irrelevant.
If the Patriots would have lost that game to the Colts, I believe they should be facing the same exact punishments as now.
Cheating is cheating, punishments must be cut and dry.
