This is my only concern here. I doubt he leaves but my God - the timing is not good at all.

Maybe leverage. Maybe he is just going through thr process as a professional. Smart move. If he decides to go Pro in a couple years, he cannot burn any bridges. Just being professional and courteous and go through the interviewing process - I hope. If he does leave this year, after saying leaving is not an option, I will lose a bit of respect. But hey, if his heart is in the NFL, let him go.

So you just know he was talking to NFL teams during the break. He was not ready for the NCG and it showed from the very first series.

Kelly, whether he stays at ND or not, looks TERRIBLE for doing this and I think it hurts his image--which he may not care about--and more importantly, the kid's, too.

What a terrible three days for ND.

First the NCG loss, and now today we lose Mirko and possibly our HC.
