To avoid all of this negativity.

Think about it. Have you ever seen a Notre Dame passing attack with this much talent?

Yes there is loads of talent in the passing game. I'm especially big on Rudolph. Some of the strongest hands I've seen. I think he could be the best tight end ND has seen, even better than Casper and that's saying a hell of alot.

Hell he woulda had 70 more yards if not for a bullshit holding penalty. Rudolph is a beast for sure.

Clausen should have had 500 yards passing this game.

Balance

Balance

As long as we can get the balance between the running game and passing game I think the sky's the limit and records will be broken. We ran som great screen plays and I think we haven't even begun to explore some other patterns. I hope floyd will be back this week as he is flat out awesome. Also hope Aldridge is back soon because he offers a nice running threat at FB. Excited about the points we should be putting up this year. What do the other D'swe face this year look like (not counting USC). W, W St., Purdue should be record setting and CW needs to learn to run it up if he can.

No. But that's not really saying all that much. ND has been behind the curve, in moving to a wide open offensive philosophy. Theismann and Hanratty are probably the best QBs to play at ND, based on what they did at the collegiate level. But there has never been three receivers, that I know of, as good as Floyd, Tate, and Rudolph.

ClausentoFloyd, yes i think this year's passing attack could be our best in history. You can double up on Floyd or Tate and the other one or someone else is open. I want to see Rudolph get more passes this year as opposed to used him as a blocker. What about the 2 tide end set this year that Weis was talking about- we need to use that.

i just wish every team had a Boubakar Cissoko on their roster. I've never seen such a horrible cornerback who gets burned for 8 plays and 200 yds...then makes one stop and taunts like he's the man.

Floyd burned him in high school several times and continues to do it in college. It's laughable how bad he is, and he starts? must be thin at CB.

My favorite is when a DB gets burned, then the QB overthrows the receiver or the receiver drops the ball, and the DB jumps up and down shaking his head as if he actually did something. Cissoko was great at doing that.

I agree laservet, best in the nation. I told my students I was naming my kid Michael Floyd, and they believed me (gotta love 5th graders). Of course, not sure my wife would go for it LOL)...

I guess what impressed me the most was the receivers' burst just beofore the ball arrived to get separation from the db. That's NFL stuff all the way.
