I could live with this scenario quite nicely. His worst case, on the other hand...

I think (hope) the D does better than that with Marve in his first game after a long hiatus playing behind a re-built O-line, with McBurse (and his 4 college runs total) replacing Bolden.

Being an avid kool-aid drinker, I'm thinking the Irish will win 42-7.

Only score by Purdue coming early in the 2nd quarte when Dayne Crist picks up a wounded bird and carries it out the back of the end zone to safety causing a safety. Worst case scenario: the Irish play poorly and I throw a beer can through another TV. My wife can't put up with the obscenities and ranting anymore and takes the dogs and leaves. Then I find out that my next door neighbor (SC fan) is the sole winner of Mega-Millions.

Best Case scenario: The defense plays like a defense this year and contains Marve. The offence plays great, by the hard work from our quartet of Rb's. Irish W 35-17.

Worst Case scenario: Crist struggles in his first game as a starter. The defense can't control the pass-and-run style QB that Marve is. But, however, our running game is just too much to handle. Irish W 28-24.
