If Aaron lives up to his and our expectations, he can continue to use "Beast" for as long as he wants. The term doesn't bother me at all. It sums up a new attitude ND has in recruiting defensive players. We are going to be fast and hard-hitting. Our coaches are instilling a competitive spirit into both our offense and defense. "Beast" is only the beginning of what I expect will be a dominating defense in another 2-3 years.

Your young superman is looking awfully good. If Aaron's patient with the staff teaching him all the stuff he doesn't already know, he'll get to be an All-American as fast as he turns the edge on his rush.

p.s. we had a good Easter, even my 94-year-old Mom. Even got in a little TV football when they ranked Notre Dame the third highest program at producing NFL football players; she liked that. Aaron will one day add to that list --- but PLEASE not TOO quickly ---I want to watch him in an ND uniform for four years if I can.

Yes sir, I agree.......I am extremely proud of him, he has made a quick adjustment at such a young age, and it hasn't been easy for him but he's handled it like a champ.
