Barry Switzer was a great coach in a 2 team conference.

He could have gone undefeated for years if he didn't play Miami in a bowl.

He must be on his period or he feels no one cares about him anymore. He blasted Johnny Football and Jerry Jones in the last couple of days. Now he has that attention he craves.

Wouldn't draft a white one, but he gushed over Manziel and said he should go #2?

I think he actually said Manziel shouldn't be drafted in the 1st 3 rounds, or something like that.

I don't know if he's getting Alzheimers or is just trying to stay relevant, but he definitely has been off his rocker lately.

That was Jaws. Switzer doesn't like JFF's personality, but loves him as a player.

Barry Switzer, 'The King' of Norman, is still unapologetically himself at 87 What an interesting character... The first word that pops into my head to describe him is magnanimous. He has certainly lived life and absolutely knows who he is. As a Cowboys fan, I always thought he rode Jimmy Johnson's coattails for his 1996 Cowboys SB victory, but man, does he love his family, Norman, and OK football fans. He won't be forgotten, that's for sure. He truly is "The King" of Norman! He and his coaching career and life would make a great 30 for 30 episode with that nickname as the title!
