hey guys, my wife and i found out that we are pregnant on st. paddys day and we are both very excited and happy. we have started to discuss names and if its a boy i want it to have the same initials as me. my initials are cjm but i dont want a jr, so i am trying to think of good strong names that begin in c. the middle name will be james after my cousin who was killed in afghanistan fighting for our great nation but we both are kionda stuck on two names. i like carter and colin. me being an irish fan try to imagine hearing the name called over the loud speaker at a game and these are the two i like the most. what do you guys think?
carter james?
colin james?

any feedback would be great and keep an ear out in about 18 years for "Marlak" of some kind hitting the recruiting rankings. obviously it will be a short recruitment for when we get that official offer it will be instant. :)

First things first: I think that's the longest post you've ever written hear, by about, I don't know, about 100 words. LOL. You're like the anti-NDinL.A. (in a good way). are your fingers tired? j/k bro

* Congrats on the kid. Way to honor your cousin, a true American hero. And to think the media wastes it's time on losers like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, when there are people like James who've lost their lives fighting for our freedom. I'd much rather hear their life stories, but I digress.

* Another vote for Colin.

* What if it's a girl? No options yet? Or is the name already set in stone if it's a girl?

yeah the girls name is set in stone. i had an option and we have decided on micaela patricia. im irish the wife is peruvian and its sounds nice in spanish too so its easy for her parents to say. patricia was my grandmothers name and so far im the first to have a kid after she has passed so i wanted to honor her in that way. she is the one who has taught the family about our heritage and notre dame football. when we were kids we would all go to her house and she would tell us the stories of the 4 horsemen and knute and how no other school would play us for religious reasons or simply because we were the fighting irish. between her stories and the gallon of bloody marys she would drink the were by far the best stories i have ever heard. i thank you all for your opinions and suggestions. its nice to write every once in a while a paragraph or two. im no word-smith but i lay quietly in the shadows until i have something to say or ask about. thanks again everyone.

oh and nd you too sir are a patriot and i agree that peoples lives that have been lost fighting for a reason(doesnt matter if you do or dont agree with the war) should be the ones honored more so that some mary jane rotten crotch in la who passing herpes around like bong hits at a high school party. but anyways...thanks again and GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!! we have the team and the chance to beat usc and if things fall into place......ill wait another month or two before i start on that carnival ride.

Awesome ideas. You could also go with William Mays. :)
