I don't think it matters who is the best and who isn't. I love America and being an American. Every country has its flaws and America has a bunch of them, but the opportunities here and the widespread culture and diversity is pretty unique. We do need to work on a lot of things, especially education.
Best post yet. Realistic, but as long as your personally content with it, why worry about it? Every country has its flaws, and whether or not the U.S. ranks top in a bunch of categories, if someone's happy with it then that's all that matters.
That said, there are some people who (IMO) have severely misguided images of what the U.S. is/should be. It should be a functioning country, like most of the world. Which it is. Nothing more than that.
