So much hate right now. Blowing a 7-0 lead in the 8th inning is unprofessional. I know it is ultimately the Red Sox own responsibility, but I'm not asking the Yankees to empty the tank to win. Just don't try to lose.

Johnson returns to big league roster: The Rays recalled 1B/DH Dan Johnson from Triple-A Durham on Wednesday. Johnson hit .115 in 25 games for Tampa Bay before he was designated for assignment and sent to Durham back in May.
(Updated 09/14/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
Johnson will provide the Rays with bench depth, and he is unlikely to make an impact in Fantasy. He can be ignored in all formats.
(Updated 09/14/2011).

Looks like Wade took that report seriously.

Johnson was 0-9 in past 7 games.

Meanwhile Proctor relieved Wade for the final out but NY had already replaced Granderson, Jeter, Jones, Montero, Swisher, and Teixeira. *ADD Cano out for a pinch hitter TOP 10th. Five of NY's 7 hits and all the RBI's in the game.

NY's lineup had 4 guys .200 or lower. Nunez has the highest BA .266. Posada is the big bat.

Wow. Aceves hits two of the three first batters he faces. Very unlike him to have trouble with control.

Lax I heard Strasbourg had 10k's. Is he hitting 100 still?

Did on his last pitch. Talking heads basically agree he's about 98% right now and should be 100% by next season. If he stays healthy the Nats could be quite competitive over the next 2 or 3 years. They got 80 wins this year and you have to think replacing your worst starter with Strasburg is worth a couple wins.

I was watching the Rays game on my computer in my room. everyone else was asleep. When that ball hit the foul pole i jumped up and threw my arms in the air.

That's how much I hate the Red Sox.

GO RAYS!!

Idk Montero is shaky defensivley, great bat though obviously. I would rather have Romine behind the plate in a close game, but would definitely try to bring in Montero to hit.
