Taking a minute to point out FSU plays a Week 0 game tomorrow.

The ACC's move to a 9 game conference schedule would have meant the noles had 3 "upper tier" ooc P4 games this year vs UF, Bama and...ND.

So, the ACC took pity on them and moved the ND game to a future schedule, allowing FSU to instead play New Mexico State.

Lol bitch made.

Is anybody following this bizarre and disturbing Kyle Singler saga? The former Duke BB star could use some prayers as it appears he is currently in a very dark place.

Where are they gonna get the money?

Apparently the boosters/donors have said no more donations until Norvell is fired. Dude is gone at season's end, at the latest. Buyout for him at season's end is around $46.5 mill.

I think it maybe happens after the Miami game because they have an off week between that and Clemson. That would give them 2 weeks for (interim HC Tom) Herman to work a few things out. That's a guess, tho.

Hoo...with a buyout like that, they may be stuck with him awhile longer. FSU does not have money right now from what people have told me.

I reiterate, it is deeply unfortunate that Miami has gotten good again. The least deserving "fanbase" in major CFB and the whiniest, most annoying alumni bases (inordinate amount of journalists) probably in all of CFB.

Their fans have become very, very annoying after last season. What passes me off is the Mensah situation. It was complete BS what happened. He was under contract with Duke and not even in the portal, and after Miami struck out on all the other QB's, with just a few hours left in the portal news came out that he may enter the portal.

It is crystal clear what happened. Totally on the level. Without Mensah, they would not be a realistic title contender. Judging by the level of freak out that their fans had online, it appears that their other QB's aren't all that good. They'd likely get smashed by whatever team they played in the 1st round of the CFP.

What is also infuriating is that the media barely talked about it, but they crucified Ole Miss and LSU for tampering. Additionally, Jim Phillips refused to comment on it and played favorites by looking the other way because Miami is the ACC's only hope of making a deep playoff run. When LSU tried to poach Demond Williams from Washington, who was also under contract and not even in the portal, the Big 10 Commissioner helped stop it from happening.

The ironic thing is that Miami keeps all the playoff money, the ACC doesn't even get a cent of the payout

The ACC knows that Miami is the only thing keeping them from being the American Athletic Conference.
Sadly, this is true. With FSU tanking, and Dabo completely losing it, the ACC is really in a hole all of a sudden. Could be ripe for Franklin to turn around VT, or maybe another team emerges in the NIL era like a Virginia (If IU can do it?). It's pretty much just Miami right now though.

Miami fans have suffered a lot in the last 20+ years. Nice to finally win/be relevant again

SMU and Louisville are candidates too.
