That was a great game yesterday and I'm glad ND beat state like that. When Michigan's game ended, we went back to our tailgate and we were watching the your game across the street from our tailgate for awhile because ours ended at 3. When we all went to Chillis, it was about the 4th quarter when we got there. The entire bar area, including me, was loud when ND picked off cousins on that tipped ball that was almost ran back for a TD. The turnovers still are something to work on, but yesterday you guys got the W, so that's all that matters.

On that muffed punt, ND could have folded like they have, but they didn't. They stood in there and got the job done. And to that I say, congrats!

Thanks for the classy post, 98% of Michigan fans wouldnt do that. I never knew Michigan fans would be cheering for Notre Dame but I guess when we are playing your conference rival you would want us to win. We took MSU to the wood shed yesterday and I couldnt be any happier about that. We will stop making so many turnovers and hopefully that starts Saturday against Pitt. I still cant believe that Michigan fans would cheer for Notre Dame lol.

I'm the only Notre Dame fan where I work in Los Angeles, and I have one Michigan fan colleague. He's a class act. After Michigan beat Dame, he came over to my desk and said he actually thought Notre Dame had the better team overall. So I'm not too surprised by this post. Michigan also has the only fight song that can compete with Notre Dame's fight song in quality, at least it seems that way to me.

Yes. I can't stand state's fans and their d*ckhead coach who always has that pouting-child look on his face. I want ND to do good for most of the season (after Michigan plays them of course) because it's good for college football when ND is good.

FOLDED LIKE THEY HAVE?

When has THIS team folded?

ND lost a 3 point game and a 4 point game to two teams currently ranked and soundly beat another ranked team. ND made an inordinate number of unforced errors in those losses and shot themselves in both feet but this TEAM never quit.

Didn't ND march the length of the field in the Big House with a minute left to score a TD?

But we also gave up 28 points in the fourth quarter. Folded or chocked, we did it that game.

Considering the score was 24-7 Irish at one point in the second half, the defense folded by giving up 28 points on the fourth quarter, consequently losing the football game. Grant it that's not the whole team, but special teams hasn't been spectacular either. The D folded, like an envelope.

Folded is not the word. Failure to put Michigan in the coffin is choking. Folded means to give up. This team did not give up. You didn't see them jogging around not caring what happens, or slacking around. This team wants to win and busts their asses to win. A couple missed assignments and not the greatest game by our DB caused the outcome but they DID NOT give up.

folded or choked, call it what you want. Notre Dame did just that against Michigan. Whether it was physical or mental it doesn't matter. I don't believe the Irish ever stopped giving effort but I do believe the defense did get down on themselves after giving up the second touchdown to michigan that cut it 24-21. Almost a sense of here we go again....the secondary lost the confidence to go play the football and it ended up costing them, Example....not going up and playing the football and being aggressive, when you play conservative as a DB you have the tendency to not get your head around remain very close the receiver but fail to play the football. You cannot play the receiver, you have to play the football and believe this it what we saw....just saying...

Ok, I'll agree with that. Thank you for expanding my vocabulary as well:)
