One would think so, but he is definitely the guy second from the top corner with his hands in the air... I would recognize those knuckles anywhere...

Those knuckles sure look familiar, but maybe we are both wrong...

That suspiscious guy with the glasses hiding right in the middle of the crowd sure looks like a guy ready to opine on some grammar.

I'm almost afraid to ask, but what did you buy?

just picked up a 24 of Yuengling, I'm not sure its sold nationwide buts its a lager, brewery is based not too far outside of philly and is claimed to be "America's oldest brewery"

im not so sure its made its way out west, but Im pretty sure its distributed in the mid atlantic states, maybe even all of the east coast.

...oh and two cases of natty ice for my roommates.

Yuengling is good stuff. They have 2 distilleries, one in Philyl nad one In Tampa. I always try to get some when I am in Florida or other places in the south.

Am I the only guy on the planet that doesn't think Yuengling is anything special? I mean, there is a reason the stuff is the same price or cheaper than PBR, Coors Light and Keystone.

Don't get me wrong. I drink the stuff, but usually as a "boat beer" (i.e. beers that you are going to drink all day vs a good beer you are going to savor).

Define "special". We're talking about American Adjunct Lager here. As far as the style goes, PBR and Yuengling are among the best of what's widely available (but that's still not saying much).

I agree completely, but I wasn't expecting Greensox to be bringing home bombers of craft beer from City Wide yet. AAL is par for the course in undergrad. Buying Yuengling for himself and Natty Ice for his buddies is a pretty savvy move.

Yeah, I'll reach for it before Coors Light usually, but its place is still rather low on the totem pole. Just a good value buy in my opinion.

When I'm feeling fancy lately, I opt for dat Sam Smith. But Kaneyoufeelit can confirm I'm never really fancy with beers. I just walked out of the liquor store with a 24-pack of Coors Light and a 24 oz. Olde English 800, for example.

Celebrating the end of another law school semester! (Ryno, this is the best time to have a beer or two... unless you're just now beginning to teach yourself the material.)

Yeah, he could have done much worse. But I've always been surprised of the cult following Yuengling seems to have. When I moved to WNY, I can't tell you how many people told me, "OMG you are gonna be able to get YUENGLING!". Which is crazy. I compare it to someone getting pumped because their buddy is moving to Portland and they get to drink Ranier. lol
