Ah yes, the tundra of Minnesota. Not bueno… I saw on Yahoo that some places can expect minus 70 degrees soon…no kidding! Hope its not where you are.
So if all the vodka is frozen, what are you sipping? Or is that why you're so grumpy?

He doesn't sip, he gums the ice.

OK, OK, I'm an old fart.

In my youth all baseball caps came with a flat bill (or brim). The "arc" came with wear and effort. Much as one "worked" a new glove with Neatsfoot Oil one "worked" the brim of one's cap with sweat or playing in the rain to arrive at the preferred curve.

...

Neatsfoot Oil purchased at the pharmacy. Treat the glove then place a baseball in the center and wrap with a dozen rubber bands so the pocket will develop.

Cap brims were groomed by wrapping them around a "Spaldeen" Hi-Bouncer with 3 evenly spaced rubber bands. Less than 3 bands skewed the arc.

Yeah, it doesn't look like they're flat brims, most of them are normal style. A lot of fitted hats too, which I prefer these days. I used to only wear adjustable, snap backs, but the snaps wear out over time (Probably because I wore them in high school and the girls used to love pulling my hat off constantly for whatever reason). The fitted hats seem to last so much longer, which is good for a guy that wears his Irish hat every day.

My dad was the same way, and he is the most resistant person to change I've ever met. He wears hats to work everyday and wears em out with sweat and everything, so I'd get him a new ND hat every year for Christmas. I started getting him fitted hats and noticed he never wore them. My mother told me he didn't have the heart to tell me he wanted adjustable hats not fitted, so he had like 3 of them saved up. I convinced him to wear one for a day and see how it worked out. He did, and now all he does is gets the "floppy" style normal fitted hats, and buys more than he needs if he sees one he likes. These old timers gotta give the fitted hats a chance.

Yep. Pedal the 200 lb. single speed bike bike with white sidewall tires to Liggett's. Pick up a bottle of Neatsfoot Oil, a pack of Topps gum with baseball cards, the latest Mad Magazine and then sip a Cherry Coke (from the tap, not a can or bottle) sitting on a stool at the fountain.

Rubber bands were easy to come by. My father subscribed to both the morning and evening newspapers ...

Anybody know of any Adidas sales for hats? Or maybe upcoming sales for when UA takes over?
I really need a 'flat brim, hoodlum' ND hat for an upcoming video. I can't bust no $30 though.
If someone has some laying around...i'd pay for that too.
