Would Spell be the only RB taken for the 27 class? I say let him take his visits before committing. I feel like the QB room got a big spark with Hartman/Leonard being there and making it a healthy room. With the RB room's success of Love/Price and having McCullough's & Seider's time at ND we are now seeing the best results on the field in a long time and in recruiting.

If we could only get there with the WR room.

Early word is that they want two in the class with interest from Noah Roberts and Amir Brown.

He is? What makes you think that, he has not had a good year.

Spell obviously and Roberts are on a different level than brown imo.
I have Roberts ahead of Brown but make no mistake is ranking is criminally wrong, way better than his ranking. This summer he dominated one of the elite camps and would be a great get to along with someone lime Spell.

The biggest reason I go Roberts ahead of Brown is because he's a little more different than what the RB room would have com 2027 with Spell and one of Brown or Roberts. Brown's skill sets don't differentiate with what the RB room would have at that time.

Just looking at the RB class from '26 and the hypothetical of Spell and Brown or Roberts you can see as good as all these guys are Spell is the Apex.

Osbourne has very great speed with elite hands and elite quickness.

Walton also has great speed, great hands and great power that might be pushing elite status.

While Brown's running style is a bit different his speed and hands are similar if not equal.to Osbourne but his quickness isn't as is his power isn't at the same level as Walton.

As for Roberts, well he doesn't have the hands of Osbourne, Brown and Walton but he's got best combo of speed and quickness and is the one RB amongst them is a true Homerun ability.

Freak of what? Average measurables and solid numbers against average competition usually don't equate to a freak🤔
I wouldn’t say average competition, his team is top 20 in the state, and he still has been posting up very solid numbers despite what has been said.

Not true. He had one monster game vs a terrible team. When he’s played a few good teams he hasn’t done well. He’s played a lot of bad teams this year. When they played millbrook I think he had maybe 30 yds rushing.

I've been to 3 of his games and he's nothing special and nowhere near a freak...a solid 3½* type back who takes what the defenses give him. He was pretty bad in two of the games (80yds 25+ carries combined) and solid in the other (90+ yds 1 TD).

Millbrook was one game I was at, he's a decent/solid back but not at the level of Notre Dame for me.
