He's bigger/longer than Zackery. Much more athletic and physical as well.
He is taller than Zackery but he's not longer than him. Length and height are very different things and Mark Zackery is freakishly long but his height is only 5'10. I agree Hasan is more physical and maybe slightly faster but athletically I would say they're equal.

The more I think about it Hasan really is a healthy mix of Zackery and Golden.

5 DB's to take in the class:

X. Hasan
A. Alston
T. Herrington
K. Terry
J. Hill
I think it's going to be a 5 man DB class with the 2 CB's, 2 S's and 1 Nickel.

I think Terry commits today to fill one of the Safety spots and if that does happen I expect them to get real picky for the final spot and wait to try to get one of the elite of the elite.

I think he announces soon not sure how soon but wouldn't be surprised if he announces this week I give it a 80% chance

In August, Hasan named a top schools list of Duke, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, NC State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina.

He plans to trim that list this winter. Hasan does not have a commitment timeline.

“I don’t know when a commitment will happen,” he noted.

Curious what you're seeing now with Zackery that compares to Hasan film?

I think Hasan is a significantly better overall athlete and much more physical than zackery.

I would say Hasan does compare to golden, a slightly more athletic golden. Both are playmakers. I don't see playmaker at all with zackery. He may have good straight-line speed but I don't see the instincts, change of direction, physicality. I know he's just a frosh, but you see that with golden despite giving up some plays. Have not seen it with Zackery.

I agree with you much more than I disagree on this but I was comparing how Hasan is right now in HS versions Zackery & Golden.

As for Zackery & Golden, there is no doubt that Golden has been a me to play looser and in turn makes you play quicker and smoother and what not.

Zackery is extremely long, freakishly long arms, fast and athletic whereas Golden and Hasan both have those qualities but have better strength currently as well as being more of a natural football player.

You do realize height and length are very different things. When they say a player is long or has great length they aren't talking about how tall they are. It's about reach/wingspan. It's the easiest to see in the OL because you could have two 6'6 OT and one of them is referred to as long while other isn't, why is that? Because it doesn't have to do with how tall someone is, it about the space they occupy. With WR you see it with catch radius. That why we can see 6'1 WR who is long have a greater catch radius than 6'4 WR who isn't long.

Zackery is extremely long, him being 5'10 means nothing because his length cover that ground.

I agree 100% because Zachery was a stud dual sport athlete and a high flyer on the hardwood. If anything he's relying too much on athleticism as opposed to his instincts as a Frosh.

Exactly. To me he looks like he playing tight, thinking too much which in turn is making his reactions slower.

I’ve been told on good authority that sometimes a corner can be *too* long and it might actually be better if a corner is not as long and that I shouldn’t feel self conscious about it
Lots of corners are not that long and that’s okay. Cooper Dejean for example.

"Tradition is huge. I really like that. It feels different every time I come here. It feels more like home. I really like it, honestly.”

“Just keep coming back, keep coming back, keep coming back. That's the main thing. Just need to make sure that it's right.”

This is exactly what drove me insane about past staffs. There were *always* elite of the elite kids that would have fallen in love with Notre Dame if they went after them. The pool of elite kids ND just can't recruit is a real thing, but I refuse to believe it's as big as people think.

I just think it’s different now that we can use NIL

And we’ve shown we can win on the field. And have a badass HC.
It's this, in my opinion. A lot of the NIL stuff comes out in the wash. We're probably recruiting above historical norms head-to-head vs some teams, and others have gained on us relatively. What the large majority of these kids at the top end want to do more than anything else is win, and be led to glory by a shining, charismatic madman. They want to know that when they go out on the field they will not be made a fool of because they have been prepared better than anyone else, with the upshot that the guys around them are the best at what they do, with the further upshot that they are all then going to the NFL.
Broadly speaking there are a few teams that can promise a shot at that, and within that cohort NIL certainly moves the needle. But the first and most important step is showing recruits that they are joining a team that is expected to stomp a fucking mudhole in the guys across the line of scrimmage, and play for championships accordingly.
