Jamie’s comp is Kaetron Allen.
Interesting comparison considering his lack of burst/ explosiveness and the limited value he has as a 3rd down back, while the other is complete opposite with burst and excelled as a pass catcher out of the backfield.

Agree. I'm not high on Rogers but he's a senior to be, lot can change.

a beat writer said i think today on a podcast that he has ran10.5 something in the 100 so that would be at least 4.4 speed if true so he isn't slow

Jamie’s comp is Kaetron Allen.Think this
I think this is an awful comp. Rogers is a speed back (legit 10.5 100m / 6.6 55M) with great wiggle who catches the ball very well out of the backfield. I'd argue his biggest deficiency is physicality based off the film, which is Kaytron's strength.

Agreed. I think Jamie missed the mark on this one.

I'll offer a throwback comp whose run style, frame and speed Rogers reminds me of. Check out the highlights.

Worst comparison I've seen in a while

Nice comp. Kenjon also ran a 10.7 100m at Oregon his freshman year, which translated to a 4.52 40 at the combine a few years later, so we know Rogers is already ahead of him there.

I wish he broke more tackles in his junior tape - but his size, verified speed, cutting ability, and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield give him higher upside than Whisenton IMO. The two compliment each other very well tbf.

Where are people getting this 10.5 number from? I've seen that on his Hudl profile, but nowhere else.
Was wondering the same thing , doesn’t look like a 10.5 guy on film against poor competition
He ran a 10.50 handtimed at a meet as a FR but it was converted to a 10.74 fully automatic timing. He then ran 10.89 in the next meet over a month later. Oddly enough, he sat out 95% of the Track season in 10th grade until the City Championships got hurt in the Final then tried to run at the State meet. His best time in a couple races was 11.12 with an injury.
