The skinny: Momentum has gone back and forth in the recruitment throughout the spring following unofficials to both campuses. Notre Dame made a savvy move and hosted Finley for an unofficial about a week before his June 13-15 Notre Dame official visit. The Fighting Irish had a lot of confidence heading into Finley's June 20-22 official visit to Texas, and it doesn't seem like the official visit with the Longhorns changed the order in the recruitment. Texas still has a chance and will continue pushing ahead of the July 4th commitment date, but for now, I think this one is trending Notre Dame and has since Finley's official visit with the Fighting Irish.
