I would really like to know Miami’s nil offer to these recruits. It must really be something because they have only 1 ten win season in the last decade and their home crowd is often terrible. I didn’t realize they only won 5 games this year. They just aren’t even on my radar anymore

It's not about the money. Super Mario lands his chopper on the soccer field at your high school. Then you lose to Georgia Tech and Rutgers.

6 trips to ND. This would be his first to Miami.

Has gone to Florida, FSU twice. He visited Illinois last summer, FFS.

The NIL game at Miami is no different/larger than any of the other recruiting powerhouses. The difference is Cristobal is probably the best recruiter in college football not named Kirby Smart.

It's January and he's living in Wisconsin. Getting down to Miami for a weekend actually sounds nice.
No argument with Strebig taking an expenses paid trip to Miami to thaw out.

My comment was focused on um donors greenlighting a January recruiting chopper expense for a 5 win coach.

He won 5 games in his first year. This past season he was 7-6. Overall he's 74-73 and 3-4 in bowl games.

Knowing what we know of that program for the last 40 years, you've probably got guys down there with money to burn. If we've seen athletic departments and or their boosters waste resources before, you can bet we're going to see it even more in this new era of college football (it's all going to hell, I'm hearing).

He’s likely referring to his commitment status.

CJ care only visited two or three times before committing. Strebig is at seven and uncommitted.
I’m not sure of his visit total over the years, but CJ practically lives on campus nowadays.

A trip to UM doesn't worry me even if Cristobal is the best recruiter. As good as a salesman as he is, does Stebig want to drive the Chevy Cristobal is selling or the Lincoln MF is selling?

Yea. I am not worried about this. Like him as a prospect but Lange and Black have more upside imo

Yeah Jamie U has him below those two and a little above Augustine

I do like that he is already college ready size wise while it sounds like the others still have a bit to add although nothing as extreme as A Wagner

I also like he has potential to play guard

If we could get all four that would be an amazing class

He definitely enjoys the recruiting game more than most olinemen but its whatever at this point I guess. Still think we're his best option and end up with him in the end

If he does decide to go to a place like Miami he probably wasn't going to be a fit anyways

Seems to be a bit long overdue. But, understandable. He’s visited five or six times without committing to this point.
