since they are actually able to buys kids now legally like A&M and others are i then wonder if they going back to handing out bags of happy meals with cash inside like before.
That part ND has to fucking figure out. Its all semantics.

But pulling a QB out of MS is a tall order. But I wonder if Tenn is also serious contention with Macintyre that might help ND a bit.

Top 2 of ND and Tennessee. Working to get back to ND prior to his season but this sounds like Tennessee unfortunately.

Hopefully Bama's QB situation is as bad as advertised this year, ours is great, and we can join everyone else in pointing out that Rees has never developed a top tier NFL QB.
Yea that whole shit show of having Rees signed before hiring Freeman will never sit well with me. I think he came off as a self entitled tool. Lance was at least hired by Freeman through a hiring process, albeit a flawed process. I at least believe fully that Gerad is Freeman’s OC.

Please lord let this happen. This would be a great get - a high upside QB from the deep south.

Who is Lance?

ND has something unique...our equivalent of sororities...SMC chicks! They really need to include a tour of St Marys on the golf cart tour and make sure there are several ladies lounging outside the dorms...that might be our way of counteracting NIL... :)

Something to follow here is UT has in-state George McIntyre higher on their board, and he was just on campus this past weekend for the 6th time in the past 18 months. McIntyre was thought to be a UT-Clemson battle, but Clemson got Hebert.
Tenn leftovers.... is where we are at?

Tons of programs get "leftovers", especially at QB where a typical year is only one. First come, first serve. If Tennessee gets Knight, does that mean some other team gets their leftovers with McIntyre, the number 2 QB in the class?

But the good news here is that according to sources, the expectation is that Notre Dame hosts Knight for a visit at the end of July — likely on the 30th. This visit could put the Irish over the top

We'll see.

Maybe Freeman said fuck it. Let’s just focus on 2025. 2024 class is the Freeman sophomore slump. Maybe 2025 will be top 5.

Next year is always the year for Notre dame fans…
I've come to accept this being a Irish and Bears fan. Every once in a great while I get a little hint of surprise, and then poof....back to normal
