Can't wait for him to play for THE Notre Dame . . . tND.

All those other ND's are just imitating.

How is he irrelevant now? In an industry where they are all hit or miss how is he less meaningful then who?

This. You'd think Irish fans of all people would understand the difference between 'No longer the Top Dog' and 'Irrelevance'.

And how many other recruiting analysts have their own show on a major TV network?

Tom at least travels and sees the majority of these players in person. I listened to a podcast with Vinny Cerrato and he gave Tom a lot of credit for giving him tidbits on several players that ND ultimately signed in all of those #1 classes under Holtz.

I didn’t say he wasn’t a big deal at one point. That was over 30 years ago. He’s not plugged in at this point. He seems to go to mediocre camps and get weird fifteen second clips with fringe prospects

Not like all the relevant recruiting experts we have on this site.
This post has started my Monday and therefore week off good and proper. Thank you.
Tom Lemming has never met a Notre Dame commit that wasn’t a 4 star+ lol
And if he's from the Chicago area, it's a high 4 star. I'm somewhat surprised he's getting flack from an ND board. If anyone could be accused of having a pro ND bias, Tom Lemming is the guy. He's based in Chicago and leans toward grading Chicago area prospects a bit higher.

As wheelhouse as they come.

Nice tidbit on him in Jamie's 6 Thoughts on Thursday article on ISD this week

Sounds like he shows promise as a potential solution at Vyper

Driskell didn't come anyway as positive as the others. He doesn't see it for him as a vyper, citing a lack of burst and explosiveness.

He also acknowledges that he may miss on his evaluation here. In his words: "People I know and respect like his film a lot more than me, and even today, others liked him a lot more than I did."

I liked the fact he measured near 6'4 and has long arms

I thought that might be the biggest problem for him if he ended up being too sawed-off like Botehlo--so was encouraged to hear he may have some length

A rare dose of candor from Herr Driskell.

Nice back plate lol

I hope he gains some good weight on top of that, he’s looking more like a linebacker and less like a DE
Maybe poor man Burnham ish ..not twitchy enough for vyper and not big/strong enough for sde

I expect Burnham to be solid player but not live up to his hs rankings

Hulak was reported to being 6’4” 240 at Irish Invasion this summer. He does look a little leaner in this photo, but again, he’s 6’4”. Quite possible he cut some weight due to conditioning for the season.

You do realize the ND staff have said Burnham has been the best DL of the fall, right?
He will probably get a starter numbers of snaps this year, with 2 more years of eligibility afterwards.
He will play in the NFL.
That would surpass rankings.

I’ve heard reports of him playing well, but there’s also quotes of Junior playing well. Burnham has more ability than Junior, he just struggled to finish last year and struggled vs power run formations.
I’m very confident Junior has no business being out there.

I expect Burnham to be a fine player but curious how he holds up to RTs in power run game. If he starts on DL in nfl that would surpass his rankings, agree

Do you have link to someone saying he’s been the best? I’ve heard him lining up with 1s at times, but no one saying the best dl individual.

I have a hunch about Hulak. With his measurables and testing along with Matt Bowen's comments about him, he may make a lot of perceptions look silly.

Interested to see if they let him rush a lot more this year.
